Metu signed a 10-day contract with the Pistons on Wednesday.
Metu made 37 appearances for the Suns earlier this year, averaging 5.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game. He'll now join a Detroit frontcourt dealing with multiple injuries, so he could carve out some playing time over the next week and a half.
