Smael Mondon Jr. is a very athletic linebacker with the speed and acceleration to excel in coverage. He has the quickness to exploit oversetting linemen and play in space. His weakness is his play strength and ability to deconstruct blocks using his hands. Mondon has good range to play sideline to sideline but is a limited contributor in the run game.
