The 31-year-old forward is one point shy of his career high with 12 points over 59 contests in 2024-25. He's added 55 shots on net, 40 PIM and 217 hits while most often filling a fourth-line role. Walker doesn't score much, but he's played well enough to keep Alexandre Texier out of the lineup.

The Blues' fourth line was able to make a contribution in the form of Walker's second-period tally. It snapped a five-game point drought for the 31-year-old forward, who has just three goals over 20 appearances since the start of January. For the season, he's at seven goals, 11 points, 48 shots on net, 189 hits, 36 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 53 appearances. He's right in line with his production levels from other campaigns, and given Walker's limited role, it's unlikely he'll get much past the 15-point mark this year.

Walker's offense has been pretty limited this year -- he snapped a five-game point drought Saturday and has just two goals over 14 appearances since the start of January. Walker had gone 14 games without a point entering Friday. The drought almost reached 15, but the 30-year-old forward deposited a feed from Colton Parayko for a shorthanded empty-netter. Walker is up to six points, 30 shots on net, 107 hits, 17 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 31 appearances. The helper was his first career shorthanded point. Both goals came on deflections of point shots with Walker parked in front of the net. He's an unlikely scorer -- these were his second and third goals of the season. Walker has played in parts of seven seasons, but he has just 118 NHL games under his belt. This season, Walker has three goals in seven games while averaging 8:53 of ice time a game. That kind of ice time puts him at risk of sitting out, so don't treat this outburst as a reason to snag him off the wire, at least not yet. Walker needs to secure a roster spot before anyone should consider him for fantasy purposes.
