Pulock recorded an assist against Seattle on Thursday. Pulock has tallied one goal on 24 shots, four assists and 25 hits in 16 games this season while averaging 23:02 of ice time. While the 29-year-old blueliner should reach the 20-point mark for the third straight season, he is unlikely to produce much more than that.... See More ... See Less

Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scores goal in Game 1
Pulock scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 2-1 defeat in Game 1 against Carolina. Pulock scored just five times in 82 games during the regular season and now has already found the back of the net once in the opening game of the playoffs. In addition to his tally, the 28-year-old blueliner also dished out a season-high nine hits and figures to continue bringing physicality versus the Hurricanes.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scores on power play in win
Pulock scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sharks. Pulock posted a goal and two helpers over three games during the Islanders' road trip. The 28-year-old's goal Saturday was his first power-play tally of the season. He's up to four goals, 23 points, 105 shots on net, 112 blocked shots, 122 hits and a plus-12 rating through 71 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Assists on both goals in loss
Pulock logged two assists, three hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Kings. Pulock helped out on goals by Pierre Engvall and Jean-Gabriel Pageau. The pair of helpers snapped a six-game slump for Pulock. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to 22 points, 98 shots on net, 121 hits, 110 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 69 outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scoreless in five straight
Pulock was held scoreless in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Penguins on Thursday. That game marked the fifth straight contest that Pulock has been held without a point. On the season, he has three goals, 20 points, and a rating of plus-12 in 67 games. Pulock has become an above-average defender, but his offense has tailed off over the last three seasons. He only has 10 goals and 48 assists in 179 games over that span, whereas, in the three seasons prior, he had 29 goals and 75 assists. Some of that decline is likely due to the Islanders becoming a more defensively-oriented team, but still, more was expected of Pulock offensively.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Offers helper Friday
Pulock logged an assist and blocked two shots in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Kings. Pulock has started to get on the scoresheet a bit more often with four points over his last eight games. The 28-year-old defenseman set up Adam Pelech's third-period tally. Pulock reached the 20-point mark Friday with three goals and 17 assists through 62 outings. He's added 87 shots on net, 105 hits, 97 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scores Tuesday
Pulock scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Senators. Pulock opened the scoring in the second period, skating his way into the slot before beating Kevin Mandolese with a wrist shot. It's Pulock's first goal since Dec. 23 and just his third point in his last 18 games. The 28-year-old defenseman plays significant minutes on the Islanders' top pair, but his offensive production is limited by a lack of power-play minutes. Pulock is up to three goals and 15 assists through 57 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Hands out helper
Pulock notched an assist in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Canucks. Pulock has just three assists in 18 games since the start of January, though two of them have come in his last five outings. The 28-year-old has also been a little suspect in his own zone with an even plus-minus rating in that span -- he's usually comfortably on the positive side of the ledger. The defenseman is up to 17 points, 75 shots on net, 97 hits, 90 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 55 contests this season, a slightly lower scoring pace than he had when he posted 21 points in 56 games last year.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: One point in last 13 games
Pulock only has one point in his last 13 games. Pulock scored between nine and 10 goals in three consecutive seasons spanning 2017-20, but he has only nine total goals in the three seasons since. He isn't hurting for power on his shot, but Pulock's 2.8 shooting percentage shows that he can't reliably pick out corners to beat goalies. Pulock is a strong defensive presence, though, as illustrated by his plus-9 rating.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scoreless in six straight
Pulock hasn't registered a point in his last six games. Unfortunately for the Islanders, there are quite a few players with streaks such as this one. When it comes to goal scoring, more has always been expected of Pulock because he possesses a rocket of a shot from the point. Unfortunately, accuracy is not a skill of his, and thus he only has nine goals over his last 157 games covering the previous three seasons. Pulock is a good defender, as his rating of plus-11 will attest to, but when it comes to offense, fantasy owners are better off looking in another direction.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Provides power-play helper
Pulock posted a power-play assist, blocked seven shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Canucks. The seven blocks represented a season high for the sturdy defenseman. Pulock also set up Jean-Gabriel Pageau for the go-ahead goal in the second period. The 28-year-old Pulock has three points over his last five games, and he's up to two goals, 13 assists, 57 shots on net, 63 hits, 68 blocks and a plus-12 rating through 39 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scoreless streak continues
Pulock hasn't registered a point in his last six games. The Islanders are among the league leaders in goals from the blue line, but Pulock has only one goal in 32 games. That goal came back on Oct. 22. Pulock possesses a rocket for a shot but doesn't always know where it's going. He has 11 assists on the season, which puts him on pace to challenge his career high of 28 from the 2018-19 season.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Contributes assist in win
Pulock notched an assist, three shots on goal and three blocked shots in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Blackhawks. Pulock had been held off the scoresheet in the last two games following a four-assist explosion last Saturday versus the Flyers. The 28-year-old blueliner is up to 12 points, 35 shots on net, 45 hits, 44 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating in 26 contests. He's a solid all-around player who can provide strong category coverage in deeper fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Explodes for four assists
Pulock notched four assists, including two on the power play, and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Flyers. Three of Pulock's helpers were of the primary variety, so he was directly involved in the offense Saturday. This was his first multi-point effort of the year, and as a solid defenseman, his scoring contributions typically take a backseat to his work in his own zone. He'd picked up just two helpers in his last nine games entering this one. For the season, the 28-year-old has a goal, 10 assists (three on the power play), 30 shots on net, 43 hits, 36 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating while continuing to excel in a top-four role.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Makes trip to sin bin
Pulock took his first penalty of the season in the 3-0 shutout win over the Oilers on Wednesday. It's hard to believe that a defenseman can go 20-plus games into a season without getting so much as a minor penalty, but Pulock managed that this year. Then again, we shouldn't be surprised by this, as he only had one minor penalty all of last season in 56 games and now only has 12 PIM over his previous 133 games.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Leads team in rating
Pulock has a team-leading rating of plus-9 through 15 games this season. Pulock is partnered with Adam Pelech each game, and they are tasked with shutting down the opposition's top line. They have been more successful than not this season. Pulock has only one goal this season, which is disappointing but not surprising. He possesses a hard shot from the point but doesn't always know where it's going and has only lit the lamp eight times over his past 127 games.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Adds helper as Isles top Canes
Pulock notched an assist in Friday's 6-2 win over the Hurricanes. Pulock won't positively overwhelm a fantasy manager in a given category, but his across-the-board contributions add up, particularly in formats that offer bonuses for hits and blocked shots. The Islanders' 15th overall pick from 2013 is plus-5 with a goal, three assists, 14 blocked shots and 17 hits this season.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Fails to register a point
Pulock didn't have a point in a 3-1 loss to the Panthers on Thursday. The loss means that the Islanders haven't won their home opener since the 1995 season. Pulock had three shots on goal, but the team expects more from their defense this season under new head coach Lane Lambert, who wants defensemen to join the play more. Pulock's best strength offensively is his shot. It's a hard and heavy shot, but not always accurate. Pulock will next get a chance to score Saturday versus the Ducks.... See More ... See Less -
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Ends season on high note
Pulock had a point, two goals and two assists in the last four games of the season for the Islanders. Pulock had five goals and 21 points for the Islanders on the season in 56 games. This was a disappointing season for Pulock as the Islanders expected more offensively and defensively from the player they just signed to an eight-year, $49.2 million contract in October. Pulock did miss approximately 2.5 of the season due to a lower-body injury some shelf time due to COVID-19 protocols. Still, much more will be expected from Pulock next season.... See More ... Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Good to go Friday
Pulock (illness) will be in Friday's lineup against Tampa Bay, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports. It was earlier reported that Pulock would be absent from Friday's season finale but he will suit up. The 27-year-old tallied a point in each of his last three appearances, giving him 20 through 55 games on the year.... See More ... See Less
