Kozun (lower body) is expected to play Tuesday in preseason action against Dallas, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Kozun returned to the ice this week after missing Friday's practice. He is attending training camp with the Avalanche on a professional tryout. Kozun notched 10 goals and 24 points in 41 KHL games with Minsk last season.

Avalanche's Brandon Kozun: Suffers lower-body injury
Kozun missed practice Friday with a lower-body injury, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.
Kozun is on a PTO with the Avalanche and the injury can't help his chances of receiving a contract. Kozun played 20 games with the Maple Leafs in 2014-15, the only NHL action in his career. He spent the last eight years playing in Europe, seven in the KHL and one season in the Swiss League.

Avalanche's Brandon Kozun: Attempting NHL comeback
Kozun signed a professional tryout agreement with the Avalanche on Wednesday, Ryan Boulding of NHL.com reports.
Kozun spent most of the last eight years in the KHL, playing for four clubs and amassing 106 goals, 151 assists and 327 PIM over 347 games. The Avalanche could benefit from acquiring forward depth at a bargain, and Kozun's scoring history overseas paints a brighter picture than the four points he amassed in 20 games with the Maple Leafs in 2014-15.
