Pavelski scored 3:18 into overtime to keep the Stars' season alive. Prior to Thursday, he'd gone two contests without a point, his longest slump since mid-March. The 38-year-old winger is up to nine tallies, four helpers, 25 shots on net, six hits and an even plus-minus rating through 12 playoff contests.
Pavelski registered two assists in a 4-3 overtime loss to Vegas in Game 1 on Friday.
At the age of 38, Pavelski seems driven to push Dallas to a championship. Since returning from a concussion, he's posted an incredible eight goals and 11 points in eight playoff outings. Pavelski's second helper Friday was the primary assist on Jamie Benn's goal late in the third period, which tied the contest at 3-3 to force overtime.

Pavelski sat out the final five contests of Dallas' first-round series versus Minnesota after being injured in the playoff opener. He has been practicing and appears to be probable to return to the lineup for the start of Round 2. Pavelski racked up 28 goals and 77 points in 82 appearances during the regular season in 2022-23.
