Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu: Improved production in second year
Tuipulotu played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 42 tackles (26 solo), including 8.5 sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble.
Tuipulotu's tackling numbers took a slight dip in his sophomore season, but he did log a team-high 8.5 sacks while rotating with fellow edge rushers Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack and Bud Dupree. Tuipulotu would be in line to see an increased role in 2025 if Mack opts to retire or take his talents elsewhere.

Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu: Sacks Maye in Week 17
Tuipulotu registered three solo tackles, including 1.0 sacks, during the Chargers' 40-7 win over the Patriots on Saturday.
Tuipulotu was responsible for the first of four Chargers sacks Saturday when he got to Drake Maye for a two-yard loss early in the first quarter that forced the Patriots to punt on the next play. Tuipulotu is now up to 8.5 sacks, and the 2023 second-round pick has a chance to reach double digits during the Chargers' regular-season finale against the Raiders next Sunday.

Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu: Extends sack streak to four games
Tuipulotu logged five tackles (two solo), including 1.5 sacks, during Sunday's 34-27 win over the Bengals.
Tuipulotu combined with safety Derwin James for a four-yard sack on Joe Burrow late in the first quarter. Tuipulotu then did it all himself early in the second quarter, taking Burrow down for a three-yard loss which forced the Bengals to punt the ball away on the next play. Tuipulotu is now up to 7.0 sacks on the year, all of which have come over the Chargers' last four games. He'll look to continue his momentum into Week 12 against the Ravens and the elusive Lamar Jackson.

The starting outside linebacker also played on 82 percent of the defensive snaps. Tuipulotu has 28 tackles (17 solo), including 5.5 sacks, two passes defensed and a forced fumble in 2024.

Tuipulotu recorded six total tackles (five solo), including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Browns.
The second-year pro from USC has begun to play ahead of Joey Bosa, recording 3.5 sacks and one pass defended across the Chargers' last two games. All of Tuipulotu's sacks have come in the last two weeks; however, he's expected to continue starting opposite Khalil Mack as part of the Chargers' top edge-rushing duo in Week 10 when Los Angeles hosts the Titans.
