Commanders' Joey Slye: Misses three kicks
Slye missed two of four field-goal attempts and one of three extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-6 win over the Cowboys.
Slye converted field goals from 29 and 22 yards, but only after he missed from 31 and 52 yards, not to mention a failed PAT. In 17 games this season, Slye made just 25 of 30 field goals and 24 of 28 extra points, limiting himself to 99 total points, which ranked outside the top 25 in scoring for kickers. The 26-year-old remains under contact with Washington for next season.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Makes only field goal in Week 17
Slye made one field goal and one PAT during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Browns.
Slye was able to convert an extra-point attempt in the first half before later adding a 43-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. The kicker has had limited opportunities in recent weeks, going 3-for-3 on field goals over his last three games. After struggling to maintain a roster spot in 2021, Slye has earned a look moving forward after he's converted 23 out of 26 field-goal tries over 16 games with the Commanders this season.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Quiet outing in loss
Slye made both of his extra-point tries during Saturday's 37-20 loss against the 49ers.
Slye didn't garner a field-goal attempt for the first time since Week 3 and was held to just two PATs, as Washington opted to go for two after its final touchdown in the fourth quarter. Coming into the contest, Slye had made 22 of 25 field goals and 16 of 18 extra-point tries over his past 11 appearances, so his lack of opportunities Saturday can likely be chalked up to a tough matchup against the surging 49ers. The veteran kicker will look to get back on track against the Browns in Week 17.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Chances limited, unfavorable Sunday
Slye converted on both of his two field-goal attempts but missed his lone point-after try in Sunday's game versus the Giants.
Slye opened the scoring with a 47-yarder late in the first quarter and connected on a 51-yarder to cut Washington's deficit to five points in the fourth quarter, but he missed his only extra point attempt in the third quarter after it was lengthened by an offensive pass interference flag on a two-point try. Kickers are rarely automatic when temperatures are hovering around freezing as they were in Washington on Sunday night, so Slye's performance in Week 15 was solid given the context, just as he's been solid all year for the Commanders. However, Washington is averaging an anemic 18.9 points per game and will see a stout defense on the road in San Francisco in Week 16, so Slye doesn't project as a great fantasy option for Saturday.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Misses from over 50
Slye converted on two of his three field-goal attempts and was successful on both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-20 with the Giants.
Slye opened the scoring with a 21-yard field goal in the first quarter, then he connected on a 42-yarder late in the second. His only miss on the day came early in the four quarter from 52 yards out, which was his first miss on a field-goal attempt from 50-plus yards on the season. After a Week 14 bye, Syle will kick against the Giants again in Week 15.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Misses PAT in win
Slye made both field-goal attempts and one of two PAT tries in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Falcons.
Slye missed a PAT in the third quarter, but he connected on all of his other kicks, including a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter and a 45-yarder in the fourth. The 26-year-old kicker has missed only twice on 20 field-goal attempts while converting 17 of 19 PAT attempts.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Converts trio of FGs
Slye made all three of his field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Sunday's 23-10 win over Houston.
Washington dominated a Texans team that fell to 1-8-1, which led to another busy outing for Slye, who has converted all seven of his field-goal attempts in the past two games. His makes against Houston came from 25, 24 and 44 yards.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Clutch in Monday night upset
Slye converted all four of his field-goal tries and both extra-point attempts during Monday's 32-21 win over Philadelphia.
Slye enjoyed his first game of the season with four field-goal conversions during Monday night's divisional win, and it was just his second contest of the year logging at least four attempts. Washington won't always benefit from as many opportunities as the turnover-prone Eagles provided Monday, but Slye could see ample chances to score again versus the Texans in Week 11.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Another perfect outing
Slye made his only field-goal attempt and both extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Vikings.
Slye now has back-to-back weeks without a missed kick following Sunday's loss to Minnesota, where he converted from 44 yards out at the end of the second quarter. Through Washington's first nine games, the 26-year-old is 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts and 12-for-13 on extra-point tries, and he'll look to keep his strong play going in the Week 10 matchup in Philadelphia.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Does job in close win
Slye connected on his only field-goal attempt and both of his point-after tries during Washington's 17-16 win at Indianapolis on Sunday.
Slye chipped in a 28-yarder to bring the Commanders within one score with six minutes remaining and knocked a game-winning point-after attempt through with 22 seconds left. The 26-year-old kicker hasn't seen a ton of opportunities this season as the Washington offense has struggled, but he's been solid in his limited opportunities with an 8-for-10 field-goal conversion rate through eight games in 2022. Unless the Commanders start scoring more consistently though, Slye still likely won't be a great fantasy option.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Nails three field goals in victory
Slye went 3-for-4 on field goal attempts while making both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Packers.
Slye was good from 22 yards in the first quarter before adding two more field goals from 31 yards and 19 yards later in the contest. The only blemish on his line was when he missed a 47-yarder late in the second quarter. Over the last two contests, Slye has gone 5-for-7 on field-goal tries and will look to remain heavily involved in Week 8 when the Commanders travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Makes two field goals in win
Slye went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts in Thursday's win over the Bears.
Slye made a 38-yard field-goal on the Commanders' final possession before halftime and later made a chip shot 28-yard attempt in the fourth quarter. The kicker's final try in the contest was no-good from 48. Slye is now 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts this season while converting six out of seven PATs.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Makes only attempt Sunday
Slye converted on his only field-goal attempt and both of his two point-after tries during Washington's 21-17 loss versus Tennessee on Sunday.
Slye made a 50-yarder in the first quarter, but he didn't see another field-goal opportunity the rest of the game. He's been incredibly efficient of late, converting on 14-of-14 attempts over his last 11 games with the Commanders, but that hasn't returned great fantasy results as Washington's offense continues to sputter. With a Thursday night game in Chicago on tap for Week 6, Slye is a still poor option for fantasy managers.

Commanders' Joey Slye: Makes first field goal of 2022
Slye made one field goal and one PAT during Sunday's 25-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Slye's first field-goal attempt of 2022 came from 45-yards out and cut Washington's deficit to 15-10. The Commanders have been aggressive on fourth downs and two-point conversion decisions this season, which has limited Slye's opportunities. Through four weeks, the veteran kicker remains one of the least appealing kickers for fantasy purposes.

Commanders' Joey Slye: No action in loss
Slye did not attempt a field goal or PAT in Sunday's 24-8 loss to the Eagles.
Slye went a third consecutive week without a field-goal attempt to open the 2022 campaign and didn't have an opportunity to kick a PAT when the team went for two following their only touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter. The kicker remains one of the least appealing fantasy options at his position.

Commanders' Joey Slye: No FG attempts through two games
Slye made one of two PAT attempts in Sunday's 36-27 loss to the Lions.
For a second consecutive week to open the season, Slye didn't attempt a field goal. He still managed to cost his team, though, as Slye's missed PAT after a fourth-quarter Washington touchdown kept Detroit's lead at nine points rather than making it a one-possession game. His lack of both volume and accuracy has made Slye an unappealing fantasy option thus far.

Commanders' Joey Slye: No field-goal attempts in Week 1
Slye connected on both point-after tries during Sunday's 28-22 win against the Jaguars.
Slye didn't attempt a field goal during the season opener as Washington's offense was surprising efficient in the red zone. The Commanders also opted to go for two during their final two scoring drives, first to try and tie the game at 22 and then to push their lead to six late in the fourth quarter. Regardless, both decisions cost Slye valuable scoring opportunities. Washington's offense was solid in the opener, which should bode well for Slye's chances for a bounce-back performance moving forward.
