Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Inks new deal
Hodge re-signed with the Falcons on Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Hodge will get a third year with Atlanta after spending the two previous seasons with the team. The 29-year-old played in all 17 games last season, recording 14 catches on 23 targets for 232 yards. With Drake London returning and the acquisitions of Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore so far this offseason, Hodge likely won't be high on the team's positional depth chart at wide receiver to start the 2024 campaign.

Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Career-high 232 yards in 2023
Hodge finished 2023 with 14 receptions on 23 targets for 232 yards in 17 appearances.
Hodge was held without a catch in seven of his 17 appearances and secured just one reception six times. However, a strong three-game stretch from Weeks 7 to 9 (seven receptions on 10 targets for 154 yards) allowed Hodge to post a career-high 232 receiving yards in 2023. Atlanta may retain Hodge by signing him to a one-year deal for a third straight offseason, but with Arthur Smith out of town and his replacement yet to be selected, Hodge's place in the organization isn't the only looming question.

Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Another quiet outing
Hodge caught his only target for five yards during Sunday's 29-10 win over the Colts.
Hodge has caught exactly one pass in three straight games, totaling 33 receiving yards during that stretch. Hodge has been playing around 20 offensive snaps per game since Atlanta's Week 11 bye, but he's not producing enough to crack fantasy relevance.

Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: One grab against Panthers
Hodge reeled in his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Panthers.
Hodge recorded just one catch for the second straight week while playing just 19 of the Falcons' 52 offensive snaps in Week 15. The veteran wideout continues to be mostly an afterthought in Atlanta's offensive attack, diminishing his fantasy utility. Hodge will look to get more involved in Week 16 when the Falcons host the Colts.

Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: One grab in Week 14
Hodge caught one of two targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers.
Hodge's one catch was his first since Week 9, when he recorded three receptions for 60 yards in a loss to the Vikings. The 28-year-old wideout played 23 of Atlanta's 72 offensive snaps, behind both Drake London (55) and Van Jefferson (32). Hodge is not seeing enough consistent usage in the Falcon's offense to make him a reliable fantasy option. Heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Panthers, the veteran should remain far off the fantasy radar.

Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Catches three passes in loss
Hodge caught three of six targets for 60 yards during Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Vikings.
With Drake London (groin) sidelined and Mack Hollins (ankle) leaving the contest early, Hodge played the most offensive snaps (46) among Atlanta's wideouts. Hodge also paced the group in receiving yards, though tight end Jonnu Smith led the team in receptions and yards through the air. After a quiet start to the season (five receptions on six targets for 64 yards across the first seven games), Hodge has secured six of nine targets for 135 yards over the last two weeks. While that's not prolific production, Hodge has clearly seen an uptick in usage and production since London got hurt. As long as London and Hollins remain banged-up or out, Hodge should be on fantasy radars.
