Adams (hamstring) will miss the Jets' game against the Chiefs on Sunday, Mat McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Adams missed last week's loss against New England and will now be inactive for a second straight week. Adrian Amos will get the start once again and the 24-year-old will try to return against the Broncos next week.

The Jets are hoping for Adams (hamstring) to return in Week 5 against the Broncos, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Adams started and played 97 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 1 against the Bills before going down in Week 2 versus Dallas. Adams suffered the injury in the team's Week 2 loss to the Cowboys and hasn't been able to take the field since.
