Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Ready for Super Bowl
Sneed (knee) doesn't have a designation ahead of Super Bowl LVII versus the Eagles on Sunday.
Sneed sustained a concussion during the AFC Championship Game against the Bengals, but he was able to clear the protocol for head injuries in a little more than a week and wasn't listed on Wednesday's practice report at all. Having said that, he showed up as a limited participant Thursday due to a knee issue, only to get back to all activity one day later. With his status not in question for Sunday, Sneed is good to go as one of the Chiefs' starting outside cornerbacks, which helped him rack up 108 tackles, three interceptions and 3.5 sacks in 17 games during the regular season.

Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Practices, clears protocol
Sneed practiced Monday and Tuesday and has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
The cornerback didn't practice in any capacity last week and had been given a questionable tag, but his removal from the five-step protocol clears the way for him to play in Super Bowl LVII. Sneed and fellow starting cornerback Trent McDuffie will face the unenviable task of attempting to slow down the Eagles' top two receivers, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Not practicing Friday
Sneed (concussion) didn't have a helmet at Friday's practice and watched from the side while his teammates warmed up, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
While he hasn't returned to practice, Sneed's presence on the sideline shows he's made progress through the concussion protocol since exiting the AFC Championship Game with a brain injury. His status will be crucial for Super Bowl matchups, as the Chiefs don't have great CB depth behind Sneed and Trent McDuffie to deal with Philadelphia's pair of 1,000-yard wideouts (A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith).

Sneed has now been listed as a non-participant in back-to-back days due to the concussion he suffered during last Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus the Bengals. However, it's been reported that the third-year cornerback was on the field for stretching and conditioning Thursday, which would ultimately put him in the next stage of the concussion protocol, per Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com. Sneed will have over nine more days to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol before Kansas City squares off against the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
