Keyes was let go by the Texans during the preseason, but he will rejoin the team in the wake of Tyrell Adams (undisclosed) being waived/injured. The 25-year-old journeyman will serve as a depth linebacker in Houston's 3-4 defense going forward.

Keyes, who the Browns claimed off waivers in November, racked up four tackles in eight games with Cleveland in 2017 while exclusively serving in a special-teams role.
