Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: Will stick with Kansas City
Kansas City agreed to re-sign Nnadi on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Nnadi started all 20 games for the Super Bowl champions last year and will return for a sixth season in Kansas City. The 2018 third-round pick has missed just one regular-season game across his first five NFL campaigns, totaling 193 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble.

Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: Stays with Chiefs
Nnadi agreed to a contract with Kansas City on Sunday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
The contract details are not yet known, but he'll remain with the team that selected him in the third round of the 2018 Draft. Nnadi is coming off a 2021 campaign in which he played all 17 regular-season games, recording 38 tackles (21 solo) and a career-high three sacks.

The hip injury first cropped up in mid-August, but Nnadi has played in the first two games of the season and recorded two solo tackles in a rotational role. The 25-year-old should be able to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers if he can put in a full practice Thursday or Friday.

Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: injures hip in practice
Coach Andy Reid said Nnadi was dealing with a hip flexor ailment Thursday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
Nnadi played in 15 games last year, recording 47 tackles before a knee injury prevented him from hitting the field for the last game of the regular season. Minor hip flexor injuries tend to take one to three weeks to recover from, so Kansas City will likely take things slow with the fourth-year defensive tackle just to make sure he's ready to go for Week 1.

Nnadi (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
Nnadi suffered a knee injury during the practice week and sat out Friday's session. The third-year defensive tackle is in danger of missing the first game of his NFL career. He has 47 tackles through 15 games this year, one stop shy of tying last year's career high in the category.
