  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Catches two passes in win

Berrios secured two of three targets for 28 yards during Sunday night's 24-17 win over the Patriots.

Berrios also operated as Miami's top punt returner, handling two returns for a total of 27 yards. Behind target leaders Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle (concussion), Berrios retains enough involvement in his rotational offensive role to warrant some fantasy consideration in deep formats. If Waddle remains in the concussion protocol Week 3 versus the Broncos, it would pave the way for Berrios to handle an expanded role.

  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Makes three grabs in Week 1 win

Berrios secured three of five targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 36-34 win over the Chargers.

Berrios clearly played behind both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as expected, but he still produced decent numbers in his Dolphins regular-season debut. River Cracraft also had three grabs on five targets, going for 40 yards and a score. More surprising, though, is that TE Durham Smythe finished second on the team in targets with seven. On days when Miami doesn't have to play from behind for nearly the entire game, Berrios and Cracraft likely won't see so many opportunities.

  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Scores in preseason win

Berrios (head) secured three of four targets for 33 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's exhibition win over the Texans.

Berrios returned to action after having suffered a head injury on a punt return Aug. 13, and in impressive fashion. He began the game with one catch from starter Tua Tagovailoa, with his final two grabs, including an 18-yard touchdown to end the second quarter, coming from Skylar Thompson. He looks slated to operate as the Dolphins' top return man this season, while also handling a depth role at wideout.

  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Gets stitches, set to miss time

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Sunday that Berrios needed stitches after injuring his head on a punt return and will be forced to miss some time, Adam H. Beasley of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Per Beasley, Berrios can't put a helmet on until he gets the stitches removed, but it's unclear how long they'll have to stay in. The returner's next chance to suit up for game action will come Saturday in Houston, but Miami may keep him sidelined for the remainder of preseason action to ensure he's healthy for Week 1 of the regular season.

  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Sustains injury Friday

Berrios (undisclosed) went to the locker room with a Dolphins trainer during Friday's preseason game against the Falcons, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Berrios was on the receiving end of a big collision during a punt return in the second quarter. If he's unable to return Friday, he'll finish Miami's exhibition opener with two catches (on four targets) for 11 yards and two punt returns for eight yards.
