It's presumed that Reggie Wayne will follow Peyton Manning wherever he goes in free agency. That's a logical presumption, but not 100 percent valid, as Wayne reportedly isn't committed to waiting for Peyton to sign before he lands on another roster.

That's according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network who reports that Wayne is more than willing to make his own move and sign with a team before Manning picks his next playing destination.

Here's the fun catch, though, and precisely why I have Wayne as my 22nd-rated free agent this offseason: Wayne could end up recruiting Manning.

Yup, that's right. Let's say, hypothetically, that Wayne ends up signing with the Dolphins (he went to college at Miami, so it's a logical fit). The Dolphins, then, would have a significant advantage over other teams when it comes to appealing to Manning.

It won't determine where Peyton goes, of course, but it will be at least one enticing factor that could lure Manning into playing in one particular spot.

So perhaps we'll see a team get bold at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, make a play for Wayne and really try to get all-in on Peyton.
