It looks like Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones will be out until at least October.

Jones suffered a knee injury during Baltimore's 49-27 loss to Denver on Thursday, an injury that's been diagnosed as an MCL sprain, according to ProFootballtalk. The injury is expected to sideline Jones for the next four to six weeks.

Jones' injury occurred on a special teams play in the second quarter where he was lined up as the Ravens punt returner. Jones called for a fair catch on the punt by Denver's Britton Colquitt and that's where things got ugly. Teammate Brynden Trawick lost sight of where Jones was on the field and ran into him at full speed. Jones' knee got twisted in the collision and he went down to the ground.

You can see a clip of the play here. The 29-year-old receiver left the game after the collision and never returned.

After Jones went down, the next man up for the Ravens was undrafted rookie Marlon Brown. Brown ended up being one of the few bright spots for Baltimore on Thursday. The 22-year-old rookie from the University of Georgia finished Thursday's loss with four catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.
