Redskins DE Preston Smith makes big impact during Week 4

Redskins defensive end Preston Smith recorded a sack and three tackles in Week 4 in which he played a season high 30 snaps, the Washington Post reports.

According to the coaching staff he will continue to be Trent Murphy's backup. Apparently Smith practices at a lower level than he demonstrates on game day. The coaching staff wants to see Smith practice hard before trusting him in games.
