The release of CB Korey Lindsey was a matter of numbers. The Cards had nine CBs on the roster before making the move. Lindsey was picked off waivers last September and spent most of the season on the practice squad. With the drafting of Jamell Fleming (third round, Oklahoma) and the signing of free agent William Gay, the team is deep at the position.
