Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Scores 22 points with two blocks
Wembanyama closed Friday's 121-110 win over Houston with 22 points (8-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 37 minutes.
It was a tale of two halves for Wembanyama, as he was held to just four points on 2-6 shooting through the first half of action. However, he caught fire over the second half with his teammates feeding him in the post, and he was able to help the Spurs hit the brakes on a two-game skid. San Antonio will look to make it two wins in a row Saturday against the Pelicans.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Scores team-high 19 in loss
Wembanyama logged 19 points (5-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 33 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 118-116 loss to the Lakers.
Seven different Spurs scored in double digits on the night, including all five starters, but Wembanyama's 19 led the team, and the third-year center failed to assert himself down the stretch in a tight contest. Wembanyama remains a force on the defensive end regardless of his offense, and he's recorded at least one block and one steal in seven straight games to begin the season, averaging 25.6 points, 12.9 boards, 4.1 blocks, 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 threes.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Four rejections in Sunday's loss
Wembanyama closed Sunday's 130-118 loss to Phoenix with nine points (4-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal across 34 minutes.
The third-year superstar failed to score in double digits for the first time in over a calendar year -- the Thunder held him to six points on 1-for-5 shooting from the floor Oct. 30, 2024 -- but Wembanyama still made an impact on the defensive end as he rejected at least three shots for the fifth time in six games to start the season. His 4.7 blocks a game leads the NBA in the early going, and by a massive margin as the Wizards' Alex Sarr is second at 2.2. Wembanyama has added 26.7 points, 13.7 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 threes to his ledger while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Double-doubles in victory
Wembanyama tallied 31 points (9-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 10-15 FT), 14 rebounds, six blocks, four assists and three steals across 36 minutes in Sunday's 118-107 win over the Nets.
Wembanyama led the Spurs in scoring and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds en route to his third double-double in as many games. The star center also swatted at least three shots for the third consecutive game, totaling 18 blocks over that span. He's the first player in NBA history to score 100 points and record 18 blocks through the first three games of the regular season. The 21-year-old has been extremely impressive on both ends of the floor so far this season, averaging 33.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 6.0 blocks, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 32.7 minutes per contest.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Flirts with triple-double
Wembanyama notched 29 points (13-23 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, a steal and nine blocks across 32 minutes before fouling out in Friday's 120-116 overtime win over the Pelicans.
Wembanyama finished just one block shy of recording what would've been his first triple-double of the season, and there's a good chance he might have achieved that hadn't he fouled out. The star big man has looked nearly unstoppable in his first two outings this season, as he delivered 40 points, 15 boards and three blocks against the Mavericks in the Spurs' opener. Wembanyama could be in line for another productive matchup Sunday against the Nets, who have started the season with back-to-back losses.
