  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Not starting Tuesday

Fleming is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Trail Blazers, Hayden Cilley of ClutchPoints.com reports. As expected, Fleming will fade back to the bench for the Suns' playoff opener after starting and logging 38 minutes in a 135-103 win over the Suns in the regular-season finale Sunday, when the team rested several key rotation players. Fleming averaged 4.1 points and 2.2 rebounds across 12.2 minutes in 55 appearances during the regular season, but he could be on the outside looking in for a rotation spot in the playoffs.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Making first career start

Fleming will start Sunday's game against the Thunder, Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman reports. Fleming will make his first career start during the regular-season finale, as the Suns are locked into the seventh seed and resting their regulars. The rookie has played at least 23 minutes seven times this season, averaging 7.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 stocks during those games.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Falls out of rotation

Fleming (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Sunday in the Suns' 120-110 win over the Bulls. With head coach Jordan Ott electing to reduce his rotation to nine men Sunday, Fleming ended up being the odd man out. The rookie second-round pick had appeared in each of the Suns' previous 20 games, averaging 6.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 three-pointers in 18.9 minutes while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. He'll likely find playing time difficult to come by moving forward now that Phoenix is at close to full strength.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Productive in limited minutes

Fleming chipped in 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and four rebounds in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 115-111 loss to Orlando. Fleming made the most of his limited playing time, as it was the first time he scored in double digits while playing fewer than 20 minutes. Even though all four of Fleming's double-digit scoring performances came in March, it's hard to trust him since he regularly comes off the bench and often plays under 25 minutes. With that kind of role, projecting Fleming to contribute steadily in fantasy is a tough task, especially with Dillon Brooks (hand) back in action and Mark Williams (foot) getting closer to a return.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Holding onto bench role

Fleming posted nine points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 15 minutes during Tuesday's 116-104 loss to the Timberwolves. Fleming should be able to hang onto a stable reserve role for the time being, but that could change once Dillon Brooks (hand) is presumably cleared to return to the floor in the coming weeks. Over his past five outings, Fleming has averaged 5.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 18.5 minutes per game while shooting 50.0 percent from downtown.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Recalled from G League

Phoenix recalled Fleming from the G League's Valley Suns on Sunday. Fleming was assigned and recalled on the same day, as he joined the Valley Suns for Sunday's 111-107 loss to the Delaware Blue Coats. The rookie second-rounder posted 16 points (7-19 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, four steals and two assists across 34 minutes against Delaware. Fleming has made appearances with the parent club in each of its last five games, averaging 1.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.2 assists across 4.4 minutes in that span.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Recalled back to NBA

Phoenix recalled Fleming from the Valley Suns of the G League on Tuesday. Fleming will return to Phoenix but is unlikely to have a spot in the team's rotation as he is buried on the depth chart. In 13 games with the Suns, Fleming averages 2.4 points, 1.2 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.2 blocks across just 6.0 minutes.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Available Monday

Fleming (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Rockets. Fleming will shed his questionable tag and return from a two-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. The rookie second-rounder has logged double-digit minutes just once this season, though he could see a slight bump in playing time with Grayson Allen (quadriceps), Ryan Dunn (wrist) and Jalen Green (hamstring) all sidelined.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Iffy for Monday

Fleming (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against Houston. The rookie remains day-to-day with a mild left ankle sprain. The Suns are missing several rotation players Monday, so there are a handful of minutes up for grabs if Fleming can get the green light.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Out Sunday

Fleming (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports. Fleming will miss his second consecutive game due to a sprained left ankle, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Rockets. However, the rookie second-rounder's absence shouldn't cause significant waves in the Suns' rotation.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Questionable for Sunday

Fleming (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs. Fleming missed Friday's win over Minnesota due to the ankle issue, and with Sunday's game coming as the first in a back-to-back, he could miss at least one more outing. That said, he's not a large enough part of the rotation for his status to impact fantasy leagues.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Assigned to G League

Phoenix assigned Fleming to the G League's Valley Suns on Friday. The Valley Suns host the Rip City Remix on Friday, so Fleming is being called upon to get some needed reps. The rookie is averaging 5.1 minutes at the NBA level thus far.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Bench role Wednesday

Fleming will come off the bench during Wednesday's game against the Kings. After starting the preseason finale, Fleming will be in the second unit. The team will run with Devin Booker, Ryan Dunn, Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks and Oso Ighodaro in the first five.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Scores seven points in SL debut

Fleming notched seven points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one steal and one block across 14 minutes in Monday's 94-76 Summer League loss to the Kings. The No. 31 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Fleming made his Summer League debut following a two-game absence due to a right knee issue. The Suns gave minutes to their entire roster Monday, so the 21-year-old saw limited action. The Saint Joseph's product is coming off a productive 2024-25 campaign, during which he averaged 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists across 31.2 minutes per game in 35 outings.

Fleming (knee) is available for Monday's Summer League game against the Kings, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports. The 21-year-old will make his Summer League debut following a two-game absence due to right knee soreness. The No. 31 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Fleming averaged 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists across 31.2 minutes per game in 35 outings during his final collegiate season with Saint Joseph's.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Won't play Friday

Fleming (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's Summer League game against the Wizards, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports. Fleming won't suit up for Friday's matchup as he's dealing with a right knee issue. The Saint Joseph's product was selected with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The next chance for him to play will be Sunday against the Hawks.
