Richardson (knee) is probable for Monday's game against Washington, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Richardson has missed back-to-back games with right knee soreness, but he's expected to return to action Monday. Before his absence, the veteran wing had finished in double figures in eight of his last 12 appearances, posting 13.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game.... See More ... Spurs' Josh Richardson: Considered questionable Saturday

Richardson (knee) won't play Thursday against the Clippers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Richardson will sit out on the second leg of the Spurs' back-to-back as he deals with right knee soreness. Richardson's next chance to return to the court will be Saturday against Phoenix.... See More ... See Less
Spurs' Josh Richardson: Questionable with knee soreness
Richardson is questionable for Thursday's tilt against the Clippers due to right knee soreness.
The veteran struggled with his shot during Wednesday's loss to the Lakers, going 3-for-12 from the field for seven points, though he added seven boards and three dimes in 25 minutes. If Richardson sits out Thursday, Malaki Branham, Stanley Johnson (wrist) and Blake Wesley could claim more minutes.... See More ... See Less
Spurs' Josh Richardson: Scores 17 points off bench
Richardson closed with 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Friday's 131-126 loss to the Clippers.
Richardson was efficient from the field and made the most of his on-court time, ending as one of San Antonio's top scorers and contributing in other categories. The veteran has scored in double digits in seven of his 10 January appearances and is averaging 14.2 points while shooting 53.8 percent from the field in that span. His overall fantasy value should continue to be bumped up while Devin Vassell (knee) is sidelined through at least the All-Star break.... See More ... See Less
Spurs' Josh Richardson: Goes for 21 points off bench
Richardson finished Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Kings with 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes.
Richardson had it going early, knocking down four of five field-goal attempts in the first half for 10 points off the bench to go along with two assists. He continued to shoot the ball well after the break, going 4-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three, for another 11 points as San Antonio suffered its fifth straight loss. It was Richardson's fifth time this season with at least 20 points, while he also saw his highest minutes total since Oct. 28 against Chicago.... See More ... See Less
Spurs' Josh Richardson: Produces well sans Johnson, Vassell
Richardson (illness) finished with 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 25 minutes during Monday's 121-113 loss to the Grizzlies.
Richardson put up another solid performance despite coming into the game being listed as probable with an illness. The Spurs were without Keldon Johnson (hamstring) for a second straight game and are likely to be without Devin Vassell (knee) through the All-Star break, and those absences open up some extra opportunity for Richardson. However, unless Johnson misses more time than anticipated, Richardson may struggle to crack 30 minutes and may have to settle for lower usage in most games, which puts a cap on his overall fantasy upside.... Spurs' Josh Richardson: Another solid effort in loss
Richardson amassed 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 121-116 loss to Boston.
Richardson was impactful despite coming off the bench, ending with 18 points, and was one of eight Spurs players to score in double figures. The Spurs are currently running shorthanded, meaning their bench unit is likely to see additional run moving forward. While Richardson doesn't necessarily fit into their long-term plans, he is arguably the most proven of San Antonio's veterans. Should he be able to maintain at least 26 minutes per night, he could be worth a look in slightly deeper formats.... See More ... See Less

Spurs' Josh Richardson: Puts up 11 points off bench
Richardson closed with 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes during Monday's 139-103 loss to the Nets.
Richardson has played more than 25 minutes just four times since the beginning of November, but he has settled himself in the low range of the 20-minute threshold, hitting that mark in seven of his last 10 outings. The veteran hasn't produced much, though, scoring in double digits just five time across his last 10 contests. He is not expected to be a reliable fantasy contributor going forward.... See More ... Spurs' Josh Richardson: Gets DNP-CD vs. Jazz
Richardson was a DNP-Coach's Decision during Monday's win over the Jazz.
When healthy, the veteran has typically played a consistent role and hasn't seen fewer than 18 minutes in a game he's appeared in since late October. His absence from Monday's game is a bit peculiar, and fantasy managers in deep leagues should monitor the situation because he's been a rosterable player. In 23.0 minutes per game, Richardson is averaging 10.7 points, 2.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 0.8 steals.... See More ... See Less

Richardson has been listed as out for Monday's game against the Rockets due personal reasons, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
It's unclear what's affecting Richardson, but he'll be unavailable Monday for the second straight game. His absence opens up 20-to-25 minutes in the Spurs' rotation, which could be filled by Malaki Branham and Romeo Langford (illness), among others.... See More ... See Less
