Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Starting sans Jokic
Jordan will start Wednesday's game against Houston.
Nikola Jokic suffered an elbow injury during pregame warmups and was ruled out, leaving an opportunity for Jordan to enter the first unit for the second time this season. In his other start, which came Jan. 8 against the Clippers, Jordan logged 12 points, nine rebounds and two steals across 23 minutes.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Upgraded to available
Strawther (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against Houston.
Strawther was initially tabbed probable due to a left knee injury and has been cleared to play. With Aaron Gordon (rest) and Nikola Jokic (elbow) sidelined, plenty of minutes should be available for Strawther.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Missing second half of B2B
Gordon (injury management) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Gordon missed nine straight games due to a right calf injury but appeared in each of the Nuggets' previous two games, including Tuesday's win over Dallas. He'll get the night off Wednesday for rest purposes, leaving more opportunities for Russell Westbrook and Peyton Watson. Gordon should be good to go for Friday's game at Miami.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Ruled out Wednesday
Jokic (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
After dropping a triple-double in Monday's win over the Mavericks, Jokic won't play against the Rockets on Tuesday due to right elbow inflammation. According to Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette, Jokic hurt his elbow in warmups. The superstar big man is putting up some of the best numbers of his career for the Nuggets and will be sorely missed against a good Houston squad. DeAndre Jordan and Dario Saric could see a bump in minutes with the three-time NBA MVP on the mend.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Active Wednesday
Murray (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against Houston.
Murray has been battling left knee soreness, but he'll suit up for the closing end of the Nuggets' back-to-back set. After dropping 45 points Tuesday, Murray should be the focal point of Denver's offense Wednesday, as they'll be without Nikola Jokic due to right elbow inflammation.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Probable for Wednesday
Strawther (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game versus Houston.
Aaron Gordon (calf) could be held out for rest Wednesday, so there could be a few extra minutes for Strawther if he's able to give it a go -- Strawther has averaged just 22.0 minutes in his last two games since Gordon returned from his injury.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Probable for Wednesday
Murray (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game versus Houston.
Murray continues to manage soreness in his left knee, but it appears that he'll give it a go for the second leg of this back-to-back set. During Tuesday's 118-99 win over the Mavericks, Murray erupted for 45 points (18-26 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, two rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Iffy for Wednesday
Gordon is questionable for Wednesday's game versus Houston due to right calf injury management.
Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and there's a good chance the Nuggets hold Gordon out for rest purposes -- he's played in two consecutive games since returning from injury. If that happens, Russell Westbrook and Peyton Watson could absorb more minutes for the Nuggets.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Records three blocks
Braun racked up six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and three blocks in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 118-99 victory over Dallas.
Despite a quiet showing offensively, Braun made up for it with a season-high three blocks. He continues to have a career season for Denver and is on pace to return seventh-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 13.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-doubles Tuesday
Jokic closed Tuesday's 118-99 victory over the Mavericks with 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 29 minutes.
Jamal Murray stole the show with an epic 45-point performance, so Jokic took a backseat in the scoring column Tuesday. However, the star big man still found a way to make an impact and notched his third triple-double across six January appearances. Jokic continues to have an MVP-caliber season and is averaging close to a triple-double this season, posting 30.6 points, 13.2 rebounds and 9.9 assists per contest across 34 appearances.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Scores eight points Tuesday
Gordon supplied eight points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one block and one steal over 18 minutes during Tuesday's 118-99 win over Dallas.
Gordon came off the bench for the second game in a row, and he's played 18 minutes in both contests against Dallas, scoring 13 and eight points, respectively. Gordon should eventually return to a starting role when back at full fitness, though. The forward averages 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game when deployed in a starting role this season.

Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Struggles from field Tuesday
Westbrook amassed nine points (3-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 118-99 win over the Mavericks.
Westbrook had been on a tear in recent weeks, but he didn't have his best shooting line Tuesday and failed to reach double-digit points for the first time since Jan. 4, when he also had nine points in a loss to the Spurs. Westbrook is averaging 15.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game over his last 11 appearances as a starter, but it wouldn't be surprising if he moves back to a bench role now that Aaron Gordon (calf) is back in the rotation.

Murray had been struggling going into Tuesday's contest, averaging 15.4 points on 42.9 shooting from the field in his previous five outings. However, Murray was able to turn it around against Dallas and lead Denver to a blowout victory. However, did cough up five turnovers compared to just six assists.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Will play Tuesday
Murray (knee) will play in Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.
While Murray is dealing with left knee inflammation, this update doesn't come as much of a surprise, given he was listed as probable ahead of Tuesday's action. Over his last nine contests, the star guard has averaged 18.4 points, 5.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 34.2 minutes. With the Nuggets back in action Wednesday during the second leg of a back-to-back against Houston, fantasy managers could find Murray back on the injury report ahead of that matchup.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Set to play against Dallas
Strawther (knee) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Mavericks.
Strawther has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a strained right knee. The 22-year-old should continue to feature as one of Denver's primary forward options off the bench.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available Tuesday
Gordon (calf) is listed as available for Tuesday's game against Dallas.
Gordon will suit up in his second consecutive contest following a nine-game absence due to a strained right calf. The veteran forward posted 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 18 minutes in his return during Sunday's win over Dallas, and it wouldn't be surprising if he remains with the second unit while the club works him back to full playing form.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Will play against Dallas
Jokic (illness) has been cleared for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.
Jokic will face the Mavericks for a second straight game, which bodes well for the Nuggets in this matchup. The veteran big man is having another MVP-caliber season for Denver, averaging a career-high 31.2 points along with 13.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game while shooting 55.5 percent from the floor, including 47.4 percent from beyond the arc.
