Brazile collected 19 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 29 minutes during Thursday's 108-101 Summer League loss to the Trail Blazers.
Brazile put together a strong all-around showing, but it wasn't enough to propel the Nuggets to a victory. He's been on a tear offensively over his last two appearances, totaling 51 points while drilling 50.0 percent of his tries from the field during this brief stretch.

Hopkins continues to play well in Las Vegas, reaching double figures in scoring while doing a nice job on the glass. The second-round pick is an intriguing prospect, but it'll be tough for him to carve out a rotation role while Cameron Johnson and Aaron Gordon remain healthy.

Brazile (shoulder) registered 32 points (11-19 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one steal and one block over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 Las Vegas Summer League win over the Thunder.
Brazile sat out Saturday's win over the Timberwolves due to a shoulder issue but returned Tuesday with a game-high 32 points, suggesting the injury won't be a concern moving forward. He'll look to keep rolling in Tuesday's rematch against the Thunder.

Nuggets' Alpha Diallo: Signs with Denver
Diallo signed a one-year, $1.4 million contract with the Nuggets on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After spending the past five years with AS Monaco in France, Diallo will head to the Association. Over 21 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, the 29-year-old forward averaged 10.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 combined steals-plus-blocks in 21.7 minutes per tilt. He was named the EuroLeague's Defensive Player of the Year last season and will provide forward depth for the Nuggets, who are still in talks with restricted free agent Peyton Watson (hamstring).

Hopkins produced 16 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes in Saturday's 101-82 Summer League win over Minnesota.
Hopkins came up empty from beyond the arc but was otherwise excellent in Denver's lopsided victory. Of his seven rebounds, three came on the offensive glass. After pouring in 24 points Friday, the second-round rookie is off to an encouraging start in the Las Vegas Summer League.

Simpson tallied 19 points (6-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 29 minutes in Saturday's 101-82 Summer League win over Minnesota.
Simpson handled a heavy workload, leading his team in minutes, shot attempts and points as part of the lopsided victory. The young guard has emerged as a scoring threat for the Nuggets early in Summer League play after totaling 17 points in Friday's loss. Simpson appeared in 20 regular-season games split between Charlotte and Denver last season, averaging 4.6 points, 2.2 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per contest.

Brazile (shoulder) won't play in Saturday's Summer League game against Minnesota, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.
Brazile is managing a right shoulder strain that will keep him sidelined Saturday. It remains to be seen whether the injury will sideline him beyond the weekend, though the rookie's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against Oklahoma City.

Nuggets' KJ Simpson: Scores 17 points in loss
Simpson finished with 17 points (4-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block across 30 minutes in Friday's 97-86 Summer League loss to Houston.
Simpson has spent most of his NBA career in Charlotte, appearing in 50 regular-season games after being drafted in 2024. While he wasn't a consistent producer for the Hornets, he averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.1 blocks in 17 career starts for the club. He signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets shortly after being waived by the Hornets in February, though he played in only six regular-season games. Simpson seemingly has a ways to go before earning the trust of the Nuggets' coaching staff, but if he plays well during Summer League and training camp, the door is open for an expanded role at some point in 2026-27.
