Mark Bowman@mlbbowman2M agoDylan Lee warmed up during Bryce Elder's 41-pitch first inning. The Braves will have the option to add another pitcher for tomorrow's doubleheader. But I don't think this is recommended preparation for 27 innings in a little more than 24 hours

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL3H ago#Braves’ Travis d’Arnaud will catch the second game of Monday’s doubleheader. Chadwick Tromp will catch today and Monday’s early game.

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL3H ago#Braves’ Austin Riley felt no soreness in his side today for first time since injury a week ago. He’ll ease into swinging bat once he’s cleared to, beginning with “dry swings” (hitting no baseball) and then hitting off a tee.

Mark Bowman@mlbbowman22H agoElder vs. Darvish. tomorrow. I assume Lopez and Sale will be the starters for Monday's doubleheader. But the Braves haven't announced it. The Padres are saying Cease and TBD for Monday. No clue why they wouldn't just push Musgrove back to Monday.

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL23H ago#Braves vs. Padres has been postponed by rain, will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Monday, with first game to start at 12:20 p.m. and the second game at 6:20 p.m.

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D agoTarp's coming out and start of #Braves vs. Padres is delayed due to inclement weather in the area. It's not raining here, and sure seems like they should try to get in 5 innings before it arrives. But what do I know?
-
David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D ago#Braves' Triple-A Gwinnett affiliate lost a game 10-3 Friday night at Memphis, with Gwinnett leaving 16 runners on base and going 4-for-20 with RISP.

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D agoTravis d’Arnaud had a good night after his head contusion and #Braves said they could use him to finish game today in an emergency, which is why they didn’t put him on concussion IL. Dizziness he felt last night was gone. They will try to avoid using him at all for two days.
