  • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Puts up power-play helper

Kurashev logged a power-play assist in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes. Kurashev set up a Connor Bedard tally in the third period. The assist extended Kurashev's point streak to six games (one goal, seven helpers). He's at 32 points (10 on the power play), 89 shots on net and a minus-27 rating 49 outings overall. • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Two helpers Saturday

Kurashev picked up two assists in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Senators. The 24-year-old winger helped set up tallies by Nick Foligno in the first period and Connor Bedard in the second. Kurashev has a five-game point streak going in which he's collected a goal and seven points, and a spot alongside Bedard on both Chicago's top power-play unit and top line at even strength should allow him to stay productive. Kurashev's next goal will be his career-high 10th, and he's already set a new personal best on the season with 31 points in 48 games.

  • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Nets lone goal in loss

Kurashev scored a goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Penguins. Kurashev has five points over his last four games, though this was his first goal since Jan. 7. The 24-year-old had been working as a center, but he shifted back to the wing with Connor Bedard (jaw) back in the lineup. Kurashev is at nine goals, matching his career high from last season. He's added 20 helpers, 88 shots on net and a minus-27 rating through 47 appearances. Kurashev's offense-only production will have limited appeal in fantasy, but he has more upside as long as he's playing with Bedard at even strength and on the power play.

  • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Gets two points Sunday

Kurashev had a goal and an assist in Chicago's 3-2 loss to Buffalo on Sunday. Kurashev missed the start of the campaign due to a wrist injury, but he's been terrific since getting healthy, providing four goals and 10 points through 10 outings this season. His scoring pace is up substantially from 2022-23, when Kurashev recorded nine goals and 25 points in 70 contests. The 24-year-old has benefited from playing alongside Connor Bedard this year, and Kurashev should continue to have significant fantasy value as long as he remains on the top line.

  • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Gets on board with game-winner

Kurashev scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Friday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Golden Knights. The 24-year-old was on the shelf to begin the season as he completed his recovery from March wrist surgery, but in his second game back he made his only shot of the night count. Kurashev intercepted an Alex Pietrangelo clearing attempt, skated into the high slot and wired the puck past Adin Hill on the blocker side to hand Vegas its first loss. Kurashev has never recorded more than nine goals or 25 points in an NHL campaign, but he skated on Connor Bedard's wing Friday and led all Chicago forwards in even-strength ice time. If he can keep that assignment a breakout campaign could follow.
