  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Gets start for preseason opener

    Wallstedt will guard the road goal in Sunday's preseason opener versus the Avalanche, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. Wallstedt is largely viewed as the Wild's goalie of the future, but he's not expected to be in the NHL this year. He went 18-15-5 with a 2.68 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 38 appearances with AHL Iowa last year.
