Mabry has played in 10 games with Seattle in his NFL career, scoring a seven-yard touchdown on his only receiving target. Mabry will remain with the organization at least through the offseason and will have a chance to compete for a spot on the roster in training camp this summer.

Mabry was competing for a depth tight end and special teams role with Seattle but ultimately came up short. The team opted to go with Colby Parkinson as the No. 3 TE behind Noah Fant and Will Dissly. However, Mabry will now be available to join the active roster at any point if any if anything happens to the aforementioned players ahead of him.

Mabry has been in the Seattle organization for the last couple of seasons between the practice squad and active roster and suited up 10 times between 2021 and 2022. Mabry was elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, and he ended up reeling in the first catch of his NFL career, a seven-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The 26-year-old once again will provide an additional depth option behind Noah Fant at tight end in Week 18 with Will Dissly (knee) unavailable for the final contest of the regular season. If Seattle is able to sneak into the postseason, Mabry could find himself a part of the active roster past this weekend.
