Bills' Khalil Shakir: Clear-cut No. 3 wideout
Shakir caught three balls on five targets for 47 yards during Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Eagles.
Shakir comes with some risk on a week-to-week basis because the Bills offer so many other weapons in the passing game, but he's now had 45-plus yards in four of his last five games while never falling below 66 percent of the offensive snaps. As teams continue to shade attention toward studs Stefon Diggs and Dalton Kincaid, there will be open seams available to secondary options like Shakir and No. 2 wideout Gabe Davis, who posted a 6-105-1 line in Sunday's loss. Shakir is far ahead of any of the receivers underneath his No. 3 spot in the WR corps, as Deonte Harty carries a 13-113-1 line and Trent Sherfield comes in at 7-53-0. Shakir, meanwhile, sits at 25-410-2, proving useful for those in deeper leagues.

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Career-best performance Sunday
Shakir caught three of four targets for 115 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.
Most of the yardage came on Shakir's 81-yard TD midway through the third quarter, and the second-year wideout produced his first career 100-yard game while scoring his third career NFL touchdown and first since Week 2. It was an encouraging initial performance under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady, but Shakir has still seen more than four targets in a game only once this season, and until that volume increases he'll be tough to rely on in shallower fantasy formats.

Bills' Khalil Shakir: One grab in loss
Shakir caught one of his two targets for 24 yards in Monday's 24-22 loss to the Broncos.
Shakir played 76 percent of the Bills' offensive snaps Monday behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, who each played 98 percent of snaps. Despite earning increased opportunities over the previous three weeks, the 23-year-old Shakir's two targets were his lowest total since Week 6. With that said, Buffalo's passing attack struggled to get going on a day when Josh Allen completed just 15 passes for 177 yards. Shakir will look to bounce back when the Bills host the Jets in Week 11.

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Solid complementary numbers in loss
Shakir brought in all four targets for 57 yards and returned one kickoff for 27 yards in the Bills' 24-18 loss to the Bengals on Sunday night.
Shakir finished third on Buffalo in receiving yards on the night and tied James Cook for the same slotting in receptions and targets, making it a solid encore to his career-best 6-92 line in the Week 8 win over the Buccaneers. Shakir notably had a much bigger role in the air attack Sunday than No. 2 receiver Gabe Davis, who didn't gather in either of his two targets. Nevertheless, Shakir figures to remain in the No. 3 role, at least on the depth chart, in a Week 10 Monday night home matchup against the Broncos on Nov. 13.
