Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Ready to go for Week 1
Oluwatimi (elbow) was not on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Oluwatimi has been dealing with an elbow injury over the last couple weeks, but he now appears ready for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Rams. The center is expected to operate as the top backup option behind Evan Brown in 2023.

Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Should play Saturday
Oluwatimi (elbow) was able to do more at Thursday's practice and is expected to play in Saturday's preseason game in Green Bay, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Oluwatimi has been nursing an elbow injury for almost two weeks. Barring any setbacks, he should be ready to take on his backup center duties in Saturday's preseason finale.

Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Dealing with elbow injury
Oluwatimi (elbow) was sidelined at practice Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Oluwatimi has "a little something in his elbow," according to head coach Pete Carroll, and he could be out for a couple days. The center played well in his preseason debut Thursday. More information on his status will come before next weekend's matchup with the Cowboys.

Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Healthy again
Oluwatimi (wrist) returned to practice Monday, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports.
It was reported earlier this week that Oluwatimi was dealing with a wrist injury but he's seemingly put it behind him. The 2023 fifth-round pick is slated to provide solid depth behind starter Evan Brown in the coming season.

Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Managing sore wrist
Coach Pete Carroll said Sunday that Oluwatimi is dealing with a sore wrist, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Oluwatimi was selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but he apparently sustained a wrist injury early in training camp. Once he's healthy, Carroll indicated that Oluwatimi will have a chance to compete with Evan Brown to serve as the Seahawks' starting center.

Seahawks' Olusegun Oluwatimi: Swooped up by Seattle
The Seahawks selected Oluwatimi in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 154th overall.
Seattle brings in Oluwatimi out of Michigan, who is about as seasoned as a college prospect can be. He started 49 games and was the anchor of Virginia's offensive line before joining the Wolverines and helping that line win the Joe Moore Award (nation's best offensive line) for the second year in a row. He's 309 pounds and can hold the point of attack. Look for Oluwatimi to challenge for the starting center role before too long.
