Tufele missed Week 13 against the Jaguars after coming down with an illness in the week leading up to the game. His return to practice Wednesday indicates that he is on track to play Sunday against the Colts. Tufele suffered a broken hand in warmups of the Jaguars' win in Week 6 and he just recently underwent hand surgery. Coach Urban Meyer said Monday that Tufele recently underwent hand surgery, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Tufele sustained a broken hand in warmups ahead of the Jaguars' Week 6 win over the Dolphins, and Meyer expects that the defensive lineman will return in a few weeks. The 2021 fourth-rounder has played just 13 defensive snaps to begin the season.
