Seahawks' Julian Love: Absent from practice Wednesday
Love (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
It's a new injury for the 25-year-old after he played every defensive snap in Weeks 1 and 2. Through two games, Love has recorded 22 tackles, one pass defended and a fumble recovery. Love and Quandre Diggs have been holding down safety duties for the Seahawks while Jamal Adams continues to work his way back from ACL surgery.

Love racked up 13 tackles (10 solo) and recovered a fumble Sunday against Detroit in a Week 2 overtime win.
Love led the Seahawks in tackles in a game during which two of his teammates also logged double-digit stops. Love broke through with a career-best 124 stops with the Giants last season and appears on track to challenge that mark in his first campaign with Seattle, notching 22 (17 solo) through two weeks.

Love is now slated to start Sunday against the Rams alongside Quandre Diggs, as Jamal Adams has been ruled out with a knee injury. The 25-year-old Love spent the past four seasons with the Giants before signing with Seattle in March and could find himself starting multiple games, as Adams has yet to be given a definitive return date.
