Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: On field for preseason win
Brooks (undisclosed) played 18 defensive snaps during Saturday's 13-6 preseason win over the Commanders.
Brooks notched one tackle assist during his exhibition cameo Saturday. He also played two snaps on special teams. The veteran linebacker looks back to full health after having missed time earlier in training camp with an undisclosed injury. He's primed to open the regular season as a key starter atop Miami's linebacker corps.

Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: Dealing with injury
Brooks (undisclosed) missed Monday's practice, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Monday that Brooks is expected to return to the field "sooner than later," suggesting that the 26-year-old's injury is minor. Brooks inked a three-year, $30 million deal with the Dolphins earlier in the offseason, and he's expected to be one of Miami's top inside linebackers in 2024.
