Dolphins' Michael Palardy: Lands in Miami
The Dolphins signed Palardy (knee) to a one-year contract Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Palardy sat out the entire 2020 campaign due to a torn ACL suffered last offseason, but he should be good to go for the start of OTAs, assuming the league allows such activities to kick off in May or June. The only other punter currently on Miami's roster, Matt Haack, is scheduled to hit free agency.

Michael Palardy: Leaving Carolina
The Panthers released Palardy (knee) on Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The Panthers also released safety Tre Boston, with the moves freeing up about $11.5 million in salary cap space for the team, Brittney Melton of the Associated Press reports. Palardy didn't suit up for a single game during the 2020 campaign due to the torn ACL he suffered last July. The 28-year-old will now look to catch on with another team and resume his punting duties in the upcoming season.

Palardy (knee) has been removed from the Panthers' reserve/COVID-19 list, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Palardy has been sidelined since tearing his ACL in July, so his sights remain set on the 2021 season. While he has been removed from the team's COVID list, he remains on the NFI list going forward.

The Panthers signed Palardy to a three-year, $7.52 million contract extension Tuesday, Bryan Strickland of the team's official site reports.
Palardy was set to become a restricted free agent after the 2018 season and is now signed to punt for the Panthers through 2021. He joined Carolina during the 2016 campaign after bouncing around the league. The 26-year-old punter is averaging 45.9 yards per punt this year.

The 25-year-old served as the primary punter for the Panthers last season after having appeared in just seven games during the 2016 campaign. The contract agreement means Palardy will at least be punting through 2018.

Panthers' Michael Palardy: Signs exclusive-rights deal with Panthers
Palardy inked an exclusive-rights, free-agent tender from the Panthers on Monday, David Newton of ESPN reports.
Palardy received an extended audition with the Panthers last season due to Andy Lee's (hamstring) placement on injured reserve in mid-November. He punted pretty well, posting a 37.9 net average while pinning the opposition inside the 20 on 13 different occasions. Palardy will need to beat out his veteran opposition in training camp to earn a 53-man roster spot.
