Raiders' Davante Adams: Won't play Sunday
Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Adams was unable to practice this week, and in his absence versus Denver, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner are in line to lead the Raiders' Week 5 wide receiver corps. Raiders' Davante Adams: Remains out from practice
Adams (hamstring) isn't taking part in Thursday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Adams has now sat out three straight practices dating back to last Friday and is considered unlikely to play this Sunday in Denver. His continued absence from practice due to the hamstring injury comes after he informed the Raiders on Tuesday that he's seeking a trade, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Jets top the list of Adams' preferred landing spots, according to Rapoport, but the wideout is reportedly open to several other teams, which could make facilitating a deal easier from the Raiders' standpoint. Las Vegas is looking for at least a second-round pick in exchange for Adams, and while the Raiders seem to be actively entertaining offers, no trade is expected to materialize until the 31-year-old has made a full recovery from the hamstring injury.

Adams -- who didn't practice Wednesday -- is viewed as week-to-week with his injury and is also a candidate to be traded by the Raiders, per Schefter. Regardless of what happens on the latter front, however, Adams is trending toward remaining sidelined this weekend. Raiders' Davante Adams: Wishlist topped by Jets and Saints

Adams made his desire to be traded known Tuesday, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Raiders are looking for a return of at least a second-round pick in exchange for the wideout, in addition to further compensation. The 31-year-old is in the final guaranteed year of his contract, however, meaning he could be a one-year rental for a team that acquires him via trade. Seth Walder of ESPN.com notes that Las Vegas' ample cap space could allow the team to eat some of Adams' salary for the 2024 season, in exchange for better draft capital returns. In any case, landing spots for Adams will likely be limited to contending teams, but Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the jets and Cowboys have already expressed preliminary interest to the Raiders, while Josina Anderson of CBS Sports notes that the Steelers are also in the mix. Adams missed last Sunday's win over the Browns due to a hamstring injury, which leaves his status for a Week 5 game against the Broncos uncertain.
