Bud Dupree: Time up in Tennessee
Dupree was released by the Titans on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
On the bright side, Dupree didn't have an injury designation tied to his release, so he appears to have recovered from the pectoral injury that forced him onto injured reserve down the stretch in 2022. Dupree had 19.5 sacks for the Steelers between 2019 and 2020, but he mustered just seven sacks across two subsequent seasons with the Titans and has been limited to 11 appearances in each of the past three campaigns.

Titans' Bud Dupree: Moves to injured reserve
The Titans placed Dupree (pectoral) on injured reserve Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
After departing last weekend's matchup versus Houston with a pectoral injury, Dupree now appears set to be sidelined until next season unless the Titans make a deep playoff run. Given the plethora of injuries to the Titans' linebacker corps, Tarell Basham, Monty Rice, Andrew Adams and Rashad Weaver figure to operate as the team's starters Thursday night against Dallas.

Titans' Bud Dupree: Won't play Thursday
Dupree (pectoral) will be out Thursday against the Cowboys, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Dupree exited Saturday's game against the Texans with the injury and was unable to return. With Denico Autry (biceps) doubtful. the Titans could be light at outside linebacker for Thursday's game against Dallas. Both Rashad Weaver and Tarell Basham could be looking at significant upticks in work Week 17.

Titans' Bud Dupree: Suffers injury Saturday
Dupree (chest) is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Titans, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Dupree did not log a statistic before exiting at some point in the second half. The 29-year-old has played at least 82 percent of defensive snaps in three of the Titans' last four games, so his potential absence will leave Rashad Weaver and Tarell Basham to step up into bigger roles opposite Denico Autry.
