  • 76ers' Guerschon Yabusele: Goes perfect from field Monday

Yabusele produced 15 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 17 minutes during Monday's 139-84 preseason win over the NBL Breakers. The 28-year-old slotted in as the backup center behind Andre Drummond with Joel Embiid (rest) sitting out. In his limited run, Yabusele was able to tie Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain and Reggie Jackson with a team-high 15 points. While the Breakers are not exactly NBA level competition, Yabusele's efficiency bodes well for his playing time during the regular season. The French forward will likely serve as the club's third-string center, and he is also expected to play minutes at power forward behind Caleb Martin.
