  • Bucks' Malik Beasley: Headed to Milwaukee

Beasley signed a one-year, $2.7 million contract with the Bucks on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Beasley appeared in 81 contests between stops with the Lakers and Jazz a season ago, averaging 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.8 minutes per contest. He's an intriguing add for the Bucks, who will more than likely utilize the 26-year-old as one of their first players off the bench during the upcoming campaign.

  • Malik Beasley: Team option declined

Beasley's $16.52 million team option for the 2023-24 season was declined by the Lakers on Thursday, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Beasley appeared in 81 games between the Jazz and Lakers last year, and he averaged 12.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game. The Lakers will choose to part ways with him, so he'll be free to seek out other opportunities in free agency.

  • Lakers' Malik Beasley: Garbage time appearance

Beasley accumulated three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) over three minutes during Wednesday's 121-106 loss to the Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Beasley saw a handful of minutes down the stretch as the Lakers threw in the towel, instead shifting their focus to Game 6. While Beasley was able to deliver somewhat consistent production toward the end of the regular season, his role has diminished during the playoffs. Outside of an unforeseen injury to one of the more preferred options, Beasley figures to remain grounded on the bench for the foreseeable future.

  • Lakers' Malik Beasley: Posts 21 points in victory

Beasley amassed 21 points (7-14 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Friday's 121-107 win over the Suns.

Beasley came off the bench to finish as one of three Lakers (D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves were the others) with 20-plus points. The sharpshooting guard did much of his work from beyond the arc, knocking down four of 12 three-point attempts. Beasley was especially effective in the second quarter, scoring 11 of Los Angeles' 31 points. This was his first game above the 20-point mark since he posted 24 against New Orleans on March 14.

  • Lakers' Malik Beasley: Sees decreased role

Beasley posted zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals across 10 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 win over the Bulls.

Beasley played his fewest minutes of the season in Wednesday's win. He also recorded four turnovers in his limited playing time. The ascendance of Austin Reaves and the return of LeBron James will likely relegate Beasley to a reserve role down the stretch of the regular season.
