Ingles contributed 14 points (5-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 25 minutes during Friday's 130-125 victory over the Wizards. Ingles has gone through several ups and downs this season, both in terms of his scoring numbers and his role off the bench, but he seems to be trending in the right direction of late. The veteran sharpshooter has scored in double digits in three of his last five appearances, and he might remain a decent waiver pickup as long as he keeps seeing around 25 minutes per night and sniffing double-digit points consistently.... Magic's Joe Ingles: Efficient in victory
Ingles finished with 12 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 139-120 win over the Wizards. Ingles's 12 points tied his season high in Wednesday's win. The veteran forward has been an important bench contributor to Orlando's eight-game winning streak. Ingles is averaging 5.8 points, 3.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds on 51.5/42.1/100 shooting splits over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Scores 11 points
Ingles registered 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 124-104 loss to the Nets. This was Ingles' best game of the season, and it was the first time he scored in double digits. Ingles has been more involved in recent games because of injuries to Markelle Fultz (knee) and Gary Harris (groin), but Harris will be back in action Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Merely the vet
Ingles notched five points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and five assists over 23 minutes during Saturday's 112-97 victory over the Bucks. Ingles profiles as a veteran teacher and glue guy for the Magic, so expecting relevant output even amid absences from Wendell Carter (hand) and Markelle Fultz (knee) is unrealistic. The 36-year-old is averaging 4.3 points in 21.8 minutes over his last four contests.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Scoreless in 13 minutes
Ingles supplied zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 13 minutes during Tuesday's 118-102 loss to the Clippers. Ingles' workload has been limited to the teens to begin the season, and that seems unlikely to change, barring injuries. Ingles has a total of two points through four games, though he has facilitated well with 10 total assists.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Available Thursday
Ingles (rest) is available for Thursday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports. Ingles rested during Tuesday's preseason game against the Pelicans but will be back in action two days later. Over 46 appearances with Milwaukee last year, Ingles averaged 6.9 points, 3.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 22.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Getting scheduled rest
Ingles (rest) is out for Tuesday's preseason contest against the Pelicans, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports. Coach Jamahl Mosley noted that Ingles and other veterans will receive routine games of rest throughout the preseason. Ingles next opportunity to take the court comes Thursday versus Cleveland.... Magic's Joe Ingles: Headed to Orlando
Ingles agreed to a two-year, $22 million contract with the Magic on Friday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The Magic previously had $20 million in cap space, but they will use a large chunk of that to bring in the veteran. Ingles is a career 40.8 percent shooter from beyond the arc and gives the Magic another reliable floor space who can play multiple positions.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Joe Ingles: Expected to join Magic
Ingles is expected to join the Magic, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reported Thursday. The length of the contract or the financials are not known yet, but the Magic have $20 million in cap space to work with. Ingles will be entering his age-36 season, but he'll be able to provide veteran leadership on and off the court. He also gives the Magic another ball-handler and floor spacer, and he has enough left in the tank to be a positive contributor as he showed last season in limited action with the Bucks.... Bucks' Joe Ingles: Struggles in Game 4 loss
Ingles supplied three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 18 minutes during Monday's 119-114 loss to the Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Ingles barely troubled the scorers in the loss, struggling to incorporate himself into the offense. While he does serve as a key piece off the bench for the Bucks, his limitations become even more apparent in performances like this. Trailing 3-1 in the series, the Bucks will now head home for Game 5 looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Sinks five triples
Ingles closed with 17 points (6-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 138-122 win over the Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Ingles caught fire from deep in the dominant Game 2 win, registering five triples. Along with teammate Pat Connaughton (6-10 3pt), the eight-year vet led the way from deep and helped the Bucks tie the NBA record for three-point baskets in a playoff game. If All-Star teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) remains out for Game 3, the Bucks will hope that Ingles can once again provide a spark on the offensive end.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Cleared to play
Ingles (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ingles will appear in the first game of the Bucks' Wednesday-Thursday back-to-back, but he was initially questionable due to load management, so fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if he sits out Thursday against the Celtics. Ingles could see more playmaking duties Wednesday with Khris Middleton (knee) sidelined.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Iffy for Wednesday's contest
Ingles (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. The Bucks have an upcoming back-to-back set, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Ingles take a seat for at least one of those contests, though he did play in both halves of Milwaukee's most recent back-to-back. If he sits, Pat Connaughton would be a candidate for an increased role.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Dishes out five dimes in win
Ingles finished with six points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 21 minutes in Sunday's 118-111 win over the Raptors. Considering that Ingles tore his ACL last February and turned 35 years old in October, expectations for the veteran wing were rightfully tempered heading into the season. However, since he was cleared to make his season debut Dec. 19, Ingles has emerged as arguably the most important bench piece for Milwaukee with the exception of Bobby Portis. Though he doesn't get enough usage or minutes to warrant a permanent roster spot outside of 14-team leagues or deeper, Ingles' averages of 3.8 assists and 2.9 three-pointers per game thus far in March make him a useful enough streaming option for both categories, particularly on occasions when the Bucks are missing one of their top top three playmakers (Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday).... Bucks' Joe Ingles: Not listed on injury report
Ingles (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Suns. Ingles will be returning from a rest day, and with Grayson Allen (foot) and Khris Middleton (rest) set to hit the sidelines, Ingles might be able to flirt with minutes in the 30s. He's on the radar as a potential streamer for Tuesday night.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Won't play Monday
Ingles has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Kings due to left knee injury management. Ingles has appeared in 12 straight games and is averaging 8.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 24.4 minutes during that stretch, but the veteran forward will take the first night of a back-to-back set off to rest his knee. It's unclear if he'll be able to suit up for the second half Tuesday in Phoenix. In the meantime, Pat Connaughton, Jae Crowder and Wesley Matthews, who's expected to return from a nine-game absence due to a calf strain, are candidates for increased playing time versus Sacramento.... Bucks' Joe Ingles: Efficient performance in win
Ingles closed with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 134-123 victory over the Magic. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (illness) and Jrue Holiday (neck) sidelined, Ingles provided a much-needed offensive boost. He scored in double figures for the third time over his past four appearances and dished out at least six assists for just the fifth time this season. Over his last 10 games, Ingles is averaging 7.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists with 47/39/75 shooting splits.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Efficient in victory
Ingles closed with 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 139-117 win over the Magic. Ingles' efficient scoring helped him record his second-highest points total of the season Wednesday. The veteran forward is averaging 5.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 23.0 minutes across his last 10 appearances, but his typical shot volume caps his fantasy potential.... See More ... Bucks' Joe Ingles: Set to return Friday
Ingles (rest) isn't on the injury report for Friday's game against the Clippers. Ingles rested during Thursday's win over the Lakers but will return to the court for the second half of the back-to-back set. Over his three appearances this month, he's averaged 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 22.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Joe Ingles: Resting Thursday
Ingles (rest) will not suit up for Thursday's game against the Lakers. Thursday's game will be the first of a back-to-back set, so Ingles will receive a maintenance day for his surgically-repaired knee. With Ingles on the sidelines, Jordan Nwora could see a bump in minutes, but that doesn't mean much with the main guys in Milwaukee healthy.... See More ... See Less
