Leonard will return to the bench for Sunday's Game 1 matchup with Miami, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Leonard started in Milwaukee's regular-season finale, but with Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis back in action, Leonard will return to being a negligible part of the rotation.... See More ... See Less

Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Double-double to close out season
Leonard produced 10 points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 31 minutes during Sunday's 121-105 loss to Toronto. The veteran center got some extra run with the Bucks resting Brook Lopez and other starters, and Leonard responded with his first double-double in nine games since joining Milwaukee. The 31-year-old isn't expected to handle anything more than a depth role in the playoffs.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Gets rare start
Leonard will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Grizzlies. Brook Lopez is getting the night off along with several other key players for Milwaukee. Look for Leonard to set multiple season highs as this is his first real shot at extended minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Active Tuesday
Leonard (calf) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Wizards. Leonard will return to the lineup Tuesday after missing the previous eight games with left calf soreness. He is averaging 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.5 minutes across his six appearances for Milwaukee this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Listed as probable
Leonard (calf) is listed as probable for Tuesday against the Wizards. Grayson Allen (ankle) and Khris Middleton (knee, rest) will be held out for the Bucks. Leonard hasn't played since March 16 and is likely looking at a few minutes, at best, if he gets the green light.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Out Sunday
Leonard (calf) is out Sunday against the 76ers. Calf soreness continues to sideline Leonard. However, even when available, he's not a rotation player for Milwaukee.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Still out Thursday
Leonard (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Celtics, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. Leonard will miss his seventh consecutive game due to left calf soreness. The center's next chance to suit up will come Sunday against Philadelphia.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Out again Wednesday
Leonard (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. Leonard is slated to miss a sixth straight game. It's unclear when he'll be able to suit up again, but his next chance to do so will come Thursday against Boston.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Out again Monday
Leonard (calf) will remain on the sidelines for Monday's game in Detroit. Monday will mark Leonard's fifth straight game on the inactive list, but he's not a large enough part of the rotation for his playing status to impact fantasy hoops. His next opportunity to play will come Wednesday in Indiana, but with that game being the first of a back-to-back, he should be considered questionable, at best.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Still out Saturday
Leonard (calf) is out for Saturday's game versus Denver. Leonard will miss a fourth straight matchup due to left calf soreness. His next chance to play arrives Monday in Detroit.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Won't play Friday
Leonard (calf) is out for Friday's game versus Utah. Leonard will miss his third straight game due to left calf soreness that has been bothering him since 2021. The 30-year-old big man's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Remains out Wednesday
Leonard (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Leonard was a late scratch ahead of Sunday's win over the Raptors due to left calf soreness and will miss a second straight contest. His next chance to suit up will come Friday in Utah.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Late scratch Sunday
Leonard has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raptors due to left calf soreness. Leonard tallied 10 points and three rebounds in 16 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Pacers and wasn't on the initial injury report for Sunday's matchup, but he'll be unavailable due to his calf injury. The severity of the issue isn't yet clear, but he'll have a few days to rest before the Bucks face San Antonio on Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Scores season-high 10 points
Leonard closed with 10 points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds in 16 minutes during Thursday's 139-123 loss to the Pacers. With Brook Lopez (ankle) taking the night off, Leonard recorded season highs in points and minutes played. The veteran big man recently signed a rest-of-season contract with Milwaukee after back-to-back 10-day deals, but he's been limited to a meager reserve role so far, averaging just 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.5 minutes across six appearances since Feb. 24 (12 total games).... Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Remaining in Milwaukee
The Bucks signed Leonard for the rest of the season Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Leonard signed two 10-day contracts with Milwaukee before being retained for the rest of the campaign. However, he is averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 6.8 minutes across his five appearances, so he is unlikely to garner much fantasy interest.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Re-ups with Bucks
Leonard signed a second 10-day contract with the Bucks on Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Leonard appeared in four games during his first 10-day stint but saw more than five minutes in only one contest. However, he proved himself enough to earn a second 10-day deal. Leonard may be heading toward a longer stay in Milwaukee considering the team waived Sandro Mamukelashvili on Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Returns to action Friday
Leonard racked up five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 15 minutes during Friday's 128-99 win over the Heat. Leonard was back on an NBA court for the first time in almost two years, playing 15 minutes off the bench. Having served his time for an off-court indiscretion, Leonard will be hoping to turn his current 10-day contract into more of a long-term deal. While there is obviously nothing to do here from a fantasy perspective, it is good to see a player of his age back on the court contributing to winning basketball.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Meyers Leonard: Joins Milwaukee on 10-day pact
Leonard agreed to a 10-day contract with Milwaukee on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Before striking a deal with the Bucks, Leonard had been out of the NBA since March 2021. While he was on the mend from a left shoulder injury that later required season-ending surgery that February, Leonard was suspended by the Heat for using an anti-Semitic slur in a Twitch stream. He was traded to the Thunder later that month and immediately waived. Leonard then had another surgery later in 2021 to address an ankle injury, and he's spent the better part of the past two years rehabbing both injuries. He's since gained medical clearance and has apologized for using the slur and met with leaders in the Jewish community as a sign of good faith. It's unclear what the 2012 first-round pick can bring to the table following a two-year hiatus, but he could have a shot at claiming a backup role in Milwaukee's frontcourt until Bobby Portis (knee) is cleared to return.... Meyers Leonard: Healthy, will work out for Lakers
Leonard (shoulder) is scheduled to work out for the Lakers on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Leonard hasn't played an NBA game since January 2021 after undergoing left shoulder surgery in February of that year, and a subsequent ankle injury that also required surgery further extended his rehab timeline, according to Charania. In March 2021, Leonard was also suspended by the Heat after he used an anti-Semitic slur in a Twitch stream, which may have also played a part in his prolonged hiatus from professional basketball after he was traded to the Thunder later that month and then immediately waived. Charania notes that Leonard has since received full medical clearance and is in good standing with the NBA after apologizing for using the slur and meeting with leaders in the Jewish community, so the 30-year-old looks as though he'll attempt to reboot his career. The Lakers are in the market for a big man who can stretch the floor, and the seven-foot Leonard -- a career 39 percent shooter from downtown -- may fit the bill for what they're looking for.... Meyers Leonard: Waived by Thunder
Leonard (shoulder) was waived by the Thunder on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Leonard will miss the remainder of the season after he underwent left shoulder surgery in February. He was expected to be let go by the Thunder after the team traded for him March 17, and the move was made official Thursday.... See More ... See Less
