  • Kalin Lucas: Finds work in EuroLeague

Lucas signed a contract Saturday with Serbian club Crvena Zvezda, John Askounis of Eurohoops.net reports.

Lucas most recently played for the Pistons and their G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive, after spending part of the 2018-19 season on a two-way deal. His lone appearance with Detroit marked his first since 2014-15, when he suited up for Memphis. The 30-year-old point guard will now head overseas to continue his career and appears unlikely to surface at the NBA level again.

  • Pistons' Kalin Lucas: Called up from G League

Lucas has been called up from the G League, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Lucas has appeared in just one game for the Pistons this season, so it's unlikely he'll take the floor Thursday.

  • Pistons' Kalin Lucas: Scores 38 in win

Lucas finished Friday's win over Stockton with 38 points (14-24 FG, 7-14 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six assists, two rebounds and two steals.

That's back-to-back 30-point games for Lucas, who missed time earlier in March with an ankle injury. The two-way player likely won't have much of an impact with the Pistons to conclude the rest of the regular season, but he's been the driving force for Grand Rapid's last-second playoff push.

  • Kalin Lucas: Scores six in return

Lucas (ankle) scored six points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT) to go along with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in the 111-110 win Friday over Erie.

Lucas only played 16 minutes so it's fair to suggest the Drive are practicing patience with their two-way guard. Lucas missed the previous four games with an ankle injury.

  • Kalin Lucas: Out Friday

Lucas (ankle) did not play in Friday's loss to Westchester.

This was a bit of a surprise given Lucas had been a critical part of the Grand Rapids roster throughout much of the season. Already well-slotted with a plethora of guards, it'll be interesting to monitor Lucas' status, as the Pistons could use his services in a depth capacity as they continue to puruse their playoff aspirations.

  • Kalin Lucas: Solid outing despite loss

Lucas compiled 23 points (9-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds and five assists in the 118-117 loss to the Swarm on Tuesday.

The two-way player didn't have as big of an impact as he would have liked on the early afternoon contest, but he's been a major factor for the Drive in the previous two contests, posting 20-point and 35-point outings, respectively. Lucas is unlikely to get much run with a Pistons squad intent on making a difference in the playoffs, so expect him to get plenty of playing time in the G League.

  • Pistons' Kalin Lucas: Makes team debut

Lucas came off the bench and provided two points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over six minutes Monday in the Pistons' 101-87 loss to the Wizards.

With Ish Smith (groin) unavailable, Lucas dressed as the third-string point guard and earned some run while coach Dwane Casey experimented with different lineups in the 14-point loss. It marked the former Michigan State standout's first appearance at the NBA level since 2014-15, when he made a one-game cameo with the Grizzlies. Once Smith is healthy again, Lucas, one of the Pistons' two-way players, will likely return to the G League's Grand Rapids Drive.

  • Pistons' Kalin Lucas: Inks two-way deal with Detroit

Lucas has signed a two-way contract with the Pistons, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Lucas, undrafted out of Michigan State in 2011, hasn't seen NBA action since 2014. This season, up until this point, he's been with the Stockton Kings of the G League. There, he averaged 22.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30.5 minutes. He figures to continue seeing most of his action in the G League, now with the Grand Rapids Drive.

  • Kalin Lucas: Plays 34 minutes in win

Lucas delivered 15 points and five assists in Monday's home win over the Texas Legends.

In nine games with the Stockton Kings, he's averaging a whopping 28 minutes and 21.8 points per game. This is the veteran's fourth year in the G League. Despite the heavy workload, Lucas has come off the bench in all of his nine appearances.

  • Magic's Kalin Lucas: Inks deal with Magic

Lucas signed a contract with the Magic on Thursday, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Lucas has played in a total of one NBA game, which came back in the 2014-15 season with the Grizzlies. Most recently, Lucas spent the 2016-17 campaign in the G-League with the Erie Bayhawks, where he played in 48 games and impressed with averages of 18.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steal across 31.3 minutes. While the terms of Lucas' deal haven't been released, it's likely only a partial guarantee at best and he'll need to impress during training camp to have a shot at making the final regular-season roster.
