Conley racked up 24 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), 11 assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block across 32 minutes during Monday's 140-134 win over the Knicks. Conley stepped up for the shorthanded Timberwolves, delivering his first double-double since arriving in Minnesota at the trade deadline. With Anthony Edwards (ankle) on the sideline, Conley shouldered more of the offensive load, both in terms of scoring and facilitating. He has been a top-40 player in nine-category leagues on a per-game basis over the past two weeks, and with Minnesota pushing hard for the playoffs, Conley should be able to maintain comfortable 12-team value rest of season even once Edwards is back in the fold.... Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Racks up 28 points in loss
Conley racked up 28 points (9-14 FG, 8-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, six assists and three steals over 46 minutes during Friday's 139-131 double-overtime loss to Chicago. With 46 minutes, Conley saw the sixth largest workload of his entire career. Minnesota hasn't been too careful with his minutes, unlike his Utah days, but it's worth mentioning that the Wolves play again Saturday versus the Raptors on the second leg of a back-to-back.... Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Breaks out of scoring funk
Conley contributed 21 points (9-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 136-115 win over the Hawks. Conley had 17 total points over the previous two games. A matchup with the porous Atlanta defense provided a good remedy for the point guard. His nine made field goals were a season high. A single turnover, six assists and three made triples gave Conley a solid all-around performance in a blowout win.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Rough night Tuesday
Conley ended with six points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three assists and two steals in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 117-94 loss to the 76ers. Conley failed to have an impact in the loss, turning in arguably his worst performance since joining the Timberwolves. Prior to this game, he had scored double digits in two straight contests. While he certainly isn't the player he once was, Conley should remain a borderline top-100 talent ROS.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Limited output in debut
Conley registered nine points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Friday's 128-107 loss to the Grizzlies. Conley made his Timberwolves debut but failed to make an impact, failing to reach double-digit scoring figures and not contributing in a major way in other categories, either. His numbers should improve as the season progresses and as he gets used to his new teammates, but he's not expected to put up the same numbers D'Angelo Russell was delivering for Minnesota before the trade.... Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Starting in debut
Conley will get the start at point guard in Friday's game against the Grizzlies. Conley was traded to Minnesota on Thursday as part of a three-team deal and will immediately replace the departing D'Angelo Russell at point guard. While he will presumably take some time to get used to Minnesota's system, he does already have a solid pick-and-role connection with Rudy Gobert, whom he played with in Utah.... See More ... Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Available to make debut
Conley (recently traded) will be available to make his Timberwolves debut Friday against the Grizzlies. Conley, who was traded by the Jazz to Minnesota on Wednesday as part of a three-team deal, appears to have passed his physical and will be able to make his Timberwolves debut Friday. The veteran figures to replace D'Angelo Russell as Minnesota's starting point guard, but it remains to be seen how much usage he'll get with his new team. Anthony Edwards is expected to remain the primary playmaker, but Conley's connection with Rudy Gobert (groin) could make the lefty's transition to his new team smooth.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Questionable to debut Friday
Conley (trade pending) is questionable to make his Timberwolves debut on Friday. Once he passes his physical, the veteran figures to start at the vacated point guard spot made available by the Wolves dealing D'Angelo Russell to the Lakers in the three-team trade that brought Conley from Utah. With Minnesota, Conley should continue focusing on distribution, as he's averaging a career-high 7.7 assists per game and is joining a team with a potent scorer in Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) will eventually return. Fantasy managers rostering Conley should have no concerns about his value.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Headed to Minnesota
The Timberwolves acquired Conley from the Jazz on Wednesday in a three-team trade that also involves the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Along with Conley, the Timberwolves received Nickeil Alexander-Walker and second-round picks in 2024, 2025 and 2026, while Utah takes back Russell Westbrook, Damian Jones, Juan Toscano-Anderson and a 2027 first-round draft pick. The Lakers, meanwhile, will add D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley. With the move to Minnesota, Conley should slot into the starting point guard role vacated by Russell, so his value shouldn't dramatically change while he plays alongside another high-usage wing in Anthony Edwards, much like he did in Utah with Lauri Markkanen. As for Utah, Westbrook will most likely be bought out in the coming days, leaving Collin Sexton as the likely candidate to replace Conley in the Jazz's starting five.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Scores season-high 20 points
Conley recorded 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes in Friday's 115-108 loss to the Hawks. Conley was efficient from the floor en route to a season-high 20 points and continued to dish out a plethora of assists. While he is averaging the second-lowest point total of his career at 10.7, the 35-year-old is averaging a career-high 7.6 dimes. He is also back above 80 percent from the line (81.1) after dipping below that threshold last season.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Cashes in at line
Conley posted 19 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), eight assists, three rebounds and two blocks over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 win over the Raptors. Conley's perfect shooting from the free-throw line helped him score a season-high 19 points. The veteran point guard's two blocks were tied for his highest total of 2022-23. Conley also managed to dish out eight assists while turning the ball over just three times.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Dishes game-high 11 assists
Conley contributed four points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, 11 assists and four steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 108-100 victory over the Mavericks. Conley attempted only two shots in the first half but still played a major role in getting Utah out to a big lead with eight assists and three steals over that span. The veteran point guard dished out another three assists after the break to finish with a game-high 11 dimes in the contest while adding just another two points on 1-of-6 shooting. Conley has now recorded five rebounds and 10 or more assists in back-to-back games, though he's failed to score in double figures in three of his last four.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Double-digit dimes in loss
Conley accumulated eight points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 loss to the Trail Blazers. Conley came into Wednesday hitting double-digit points in five of the last six games and had dished out 39 assists to just four turnovers during that span. He managed only eight points on the night, but the veteran ball handler dished out 10 dimes against Portland, marking his first double-digit performance since Jan. 5. His assist-to-turnover ratio has given him some value this season in nine-category leagues.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Hot streak continues
Conley chipped in 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds, nine assists and one block across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 126-103 victory over the Clippers. With Wednesday's performance, the veteran has scored double-digit points in four straight games -- just the second time all season that he's achieved the feat. Fantasy managers in nine-category leagues are also benefiting from Conley's ball control, as he has 23 assists and zero turnovers over the past three games. He should be rostered, or at least streamed, in most 12-team fantasy leagues.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Slated to play Saturday
Conley (rest) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the 76ers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Conley predictably will make his return to the floor after getting a night off to rest on the front end of the back-to-back set Friday. He should resume his duties as the Jazz's starting point guard, sending Nickeil Alexander-Walker back to the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Sitting out against Orlando
Conley is out for Friday's game versus the Magic due to rest, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Conley will rest on the first night of Utah's back-to-back. Collin Sexton will likely enter the starting lineup in his absence. The veteran Conley should be good to go for Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Quiet again in loss
Conley recorded seven points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 123-118 loss to the Grizzlies. Conley struggled again in the loss, scoring in single digits for the fourth time in his last five games. He has been able to maintain strong assist numbers, putting up at least seven dimes in each of his past seven games, somewhat salvaging what has been a rough period. He is the 187th-ranked player over the past month, and while he is probably a must-roster player, his offensive woes do mean he isn't going to be for everyone.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Contributes across board in loss
Conley finished with 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven assists, three steals and one rebound across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 117-115 loss to the Kings. Conley's scoring production has been all over the map of late, but he's continued to provide assists at a career-best rate (7.5 per game) while making a regular contribution in the steals column. Considering that Conley is shooting 38.7 percent from the field for the season -- well below his career 43.8 percent rate -- he should be a candidate to see his scoring increase to some degree as the season rolls along.... Jazz's Mike Conley: Goes for 17 points in loss
Conley racked up 17 points (4-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 126-125 loss to the Kings. Conley had a quiet first half with just six points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field to go along with four assists. He knocked down only two more shots in the second half on six attempts but still managed another 11 points after going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. The Jazz point guard has reached the 17-point mark in two of his last three games, while his six free-throw attempts in the contest matched a season high.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Mike Conley: Dishes out 10 dimes
Conley chipped in five points (2-11 FG, 1-8 3Pt), two rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 112-107 loss to Golden State. After dropping 17 points during Monday's loss to the Spurs, Conley was quite inefficient from the floor against the Warriors on Wednesday. He's started the last eight matchups but has been held to single-digit scoring totals in seven of those appearances, and he's averaged 7.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 29.0 minutes per game over that stretch....
