Giants' Michael Conforto: MRI clean on left heel
Conforto is considered day-to-day with a bruised left heel after medical imaging came back clean Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Conforto was sent for both X-rays and an MRI after experiencing discomfort in his heel during Tuesday night's game against the Pirates. He was held out of action Wednesday afternoon but will presumably be able to return at some point during the Giants' three-game weekend series versus the Orioles. San Francisco has a much-needed scheduled team day off Thursday.

Giants' Michael Conforto: Undergoing tests on heel
Conforto, who is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, will undergo an MRI and X-ray on his injured left heel, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The Giants expressed optimism that Conforto was dealing with only a minor concern after he injured his heel in Tuesday's 2-1 loss, but the team now seems to be more worried about his situation. Conforto was spotted walking around with a noticeable limp in the clubhouse prior to Wednesday's contest. A trip to the injured list would be terrible timing for the veteran outfielder, who has been scorching hot with a 1.138 OPS and seven home runs over his last 18 games.

Giants' Michael Conforto: Out with heel injury
Conforto (heel) is not in the starting lineup versus the Pirates on Wednesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Conforto left Tuesday's contest against the Pirates with a bruise on his left heel, and the outfielder will get at least a day of rest while recovering. Blake Sabol is hitting fifth and playing left field while Mitch Haniger moves over to right field with Conforto on the bench.

Conforto went 2-for-4 with an RBI before leaving the contest. The outfielder was replaced by Bryce Johnson. The day-to-day designation gives Conforto a chance to return to the lineup shortly, but the Giants will want to make sure he's good to go to keep one of their best hitters healthy over the summer months.

Conforto went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a double and two more runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Twins.
Conforto notched his first hit of the evening with a double in the sixth and came around to score. He stepped back up to the plate in the seventh and sent a breaking ball over the wall in left to put the Giants up 4-3. The 30-year-old now has six home runs over his last 12 games and leads the Giants overall with 10 homers on the year. Conforto hit 88 long balls from 2017-2019 and would seem to have a chance to reach 30 home runs this year if he can stay healthy. He's now slashing .219/.324/.445 with 24 RBI, 27 runs and a 21:46 BB:K over 170 plate appearances.

Giants' Michael Conforto: Provides big blast
Conforto went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk Monday in a 4-1 win against Minnesota.
Conforto got the key hit in a big first inning against Bailey Ober, swatting a three-run homer that ultimately accounted for the winning margin. The long ball was a nice rebound after Conforto struck out in all four of his at-bats against Miami in his previous game. The right fielder has nine homers on the campaign, with five of them coming in his past 11 contests.
