Rockies' Kris Bryant: Resting Saturday
Bryant will sit Saturday against the Mets, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Bryant sits for the second time in five games. He's fallen into a bit of a slump, going 2-for-24 over his last seven games, though he's struck out just twice over that stretch, so the hits should start falling soon. Harold Castro will be the right fielder Saturday.

Rockies' Kris Bryant: Drives in pair
Bryant went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Reds.
Bryant came to the plate with the bases loaded in the sixth inning and delivered a two-RBI single. He's hit well of late, tallying seven multi-hit performances across his last 12 games. In that span, he's also driven in six and scored three runs. Bryant has reached base at a solid clip -- he's maintained a .297 average and .370 on-base percentage -- though he has only a .129 ISO across 173 plate appearances this season.

Rockies' Kris Bryant: Hits fifth home run of season
Bryant went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Sunday's 13-6 victory over the Mets.
Bryant tied the game at 3-3 with an RBI single in the third and gave the Rockies a 5-4 lead in the fifth with a two-run home run, his fifth of the season. Durability has been an issue for Bryant recently, as he hasn't played over 100 games since 2019, but when he's been available, he's been a quality producer for Colorado in limited action.

Rockies' Kris Bryant: Mashes fourth homer of year
Bryant went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Brewers.
Bryant crushed a 448-foot long ball to extend Colorado's lead to 6-0 in the seventh inning. The former Cub now has hits in six of his last seven games. The outfielder, who hasn't played over 100 games since 2019, still has to prove he can maintain his durability over the entire season. However, he's off to a solid start in 2023, slashing .299/.370/.449 with four homers.
