Every week, Maxwell Award winner, Heisman Trophy finalist, former NFL starting quarterback and CBS Sports analyst Brady Quinn will be here offering his picks on some of the closest, most-competitive college football games.

We have already seen some surprises, but you can set your mind at ease this weekend with these straight-up winners.

Last week: 2-1 | Season: 6-6

No. 11 Tennessee at No. 25 Georgia: The Vols are riding high after their big win over Florida. Quarterback Josh Dobbs got his wide receivers to step up in the second half, racking up 35 consecutive points. The Vols' defense should receive more credit as well for pestering Florida QB Austin Appleby all game long, but that's been the status quo of Derek Barnett and this defensive front. Georgia QB Jacob Eason will get the same treatment this week after having his worst performance of the year against Ole Miss last week. With the uncertainty surrounding Nick Chubb availability this week, I'm thinking the Vols are building momentum in the SEC East. Pick: Tennessee

SportsLine ATS projection: Georgia + 3.5 -- Analysis

Oklahoma at No. 21 TCU: Texas A&M transfer Kenny Hill has been productive in his first year leading the Horned Frogs, but has gotten off to a slow start in every game. The TCU defense has struggled with injuries and a lack of experience. Things won't get any easier against the Sooners, as Baker Mayfield, Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon will create matchup issues for a defense that has struggled to stop the run. It doesn't end there. The Horned Frogs aren't generating turnovers -- a signature of Gary Patterson's team -- and haven't been able to keep opponents from scoring in the red zone. Oklahoma has played one of the toughest schedules in the country, but they will find themselves on the winning end of this Big 12 battle. Pick: Oklahoma

SportsLine ATS projection: TCU + 3.5 -- Analysis

Utah at Cal: The Utes are on the road after breaking into the AP Top 20 with their win over USC last week. Coach Kyle Whittingham has his defense playing well -- ranked in the top 25 in multiple categories -- and pressuring opposing quarterbacks. Davis Webb felt the pressure last week against Arizona State, resulting in turnovers and points for the Sun Devils. This trend should continue against a Utah defense that's racked up 10 sacks in a game already this season. The difference maker is wide receiver Tim Patrick. Adoree Jackson is one of the best corners in the country, but even he couldn't hold the large receiver from catching the game-winning TD last week. I don't think Cal will have the ability to cover him either. Pick: Utah
