Toppin agreed to a two-way contract with the Knicks on Monday, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
Toppin's 10-day contract with the Knicks expired over the weekend, but New York didn't wait long to bring him back in the fold by signing him to a two-way deal for the second time this season. He'll serve as frontcourt depth while he's with New York and should see extended minutes whenever he's assigned to the G League's Westchester Knicks.

Toppin became a free agent Saturday after his 10-day contract with the Knicks expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Toppin has been a member of the Knicks' roster all season, but he was recently moved off a two-way deal to a 10-day contract. The Knicks will have the option of retaining Toppin on a second 10-day pact, but it's unclear if they'll do so or if they'll look to use the open roster spot on another player. Toppin has appeared in just eight games at the NBA level this season, averaging 1.6 points and 0.9 rebounds in 4.6 minutes.

Knicks' Jacob Toppin: Recalled to NBA

New York recalled Toppin from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Wednesday.
Toppin was sent to Westchester on Wednesday morning to presumably practice but has since returned to the NBA club. He's made just eight NBA appearances this season, averaging 4.6 minutes per game.
The Knicks signed Toppin to a 10-day contract Thursday, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
Toppin had been occupying one of the Knicks' three two-way slots, but he'll now move on to the 15-man roster along with fellow 10-day signee DaQuan Jeffries prior to Thursday's game in Philadelphia. The undrafted rookie out of Kentucky is averaging just 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.6 minutes across his five NBA appearances so far in 2023-24 and may continue to see most of his time in the G League with the Westchester Knicks, despite the fact that he's no longer a two-way player.
The Knicks converted Toppin's Exhibit 10 deal into a two-way contract Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Toppin spent the preseason with New York and will now remain with the team for the rest of the season. He will split time between the Knicks and their G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, in 2023-24.
