Whitecloud suffered a lower-body injury during Vegas' 2-1 shootout loss to Dallas on Saturday, Gary Lawless of the Golden Knights' official site reports. Whitecloud sustained the injury in the third period when Roope Hintz was pushed into him from behind and landed on the defenseman's leg. Whitecloud needed help skating off the ice. The former Anaheim Duck was not extended a qualifying offer. He has scored 38 goals and 86 points in 210 NHL games. Plus 6 goals in 16 games vs VGK.
