  • Sharks' Jasper Weatherby: Sent back to minors

Weatherby was dropped down to AHL San Jose on Monday. Weatherby hasn't scored a goal in 24 games while notching just 25 shots over that stretch. The 23-year-old center garnered a mere three assists over that stretch, so his demotion is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy players. Still, with the Sharks off until Dec. 27 against the Ducks, Weatherby's demotion may be no more than a cap-saving measure for the club with the Oregon native set to be recalled before the clash with the Ducks.

The 23-year-old Weatherby has done alright for himself in a bottom-six role, collecting six points, 25 shots on net, 29 hits and a minus-8 rating in 25 contests.
