Flyers' Cam York: Finds twine Thursday
York scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM, went plus-2, logged three hits and blocked three shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.
York's third-period tally ended up being the game-winner. It was his first goal since Dec. 7, and he was limited to six assists over 17 outings between goals. The blueliner has 11 points, 36 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 32 appearances this season. York has maintained a top-four role in 2024-25 despite failing to take the next step forward on offense.

Flyers' Cam York: Records helper Tuesday
York notched an assist, two blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
York had the secondary helper on Travis Konecny's opening tally in the first period. With five helpers over his last eight games, York has done well to secure his place in the lineup after a healthy scratch Dec. 19 versus the Kings. The 24-year-old blueliner is at 10 points, 26 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 27 appearances. He's offering decent category coverage, but a lack of power-play time keeps his ceiling low in fantasy.

Flyers' Cam York: Assist streak at four games
York notched an assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Kings.
York has a helper in four straight games while adding six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in that span. The 23-year-old missed the first matchup against the Kings on Dec. 19 as a healthy scratch, but he's been in a top-four role since getting back into the lineup. He's now at nine points, 26 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 23 appearances. York's usage has shaded toward defensive for much of the campaign -- he's averaging just 13 seconds per game on the power play, which won't help him in pursuit of the 30-point threshold for a second consecutive season.

York notched an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Ducks.
York has earned a helper in three straight contests after being a healthy scratch against the Kings on Dec. 19. He has occupied a top-four role lately, though he's still not seeing much power-play usage. For the season, the 23-year-old blueliner has just eight points with 26 shots on net, 42 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 22 appearances.

Flyers' Cam York: Nabs helper Saturday
York logged an assist, three shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
York was scratched for Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Kings, but the Flyers' defense proved to be worse without him. He has three points over eight outings in December, though he's still on shaky ground for his defensive play. The 23-year-old blueliner has six points, a minus-1 rating, 26 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 12 PIM through 20 contests this season. York saw 23:34 of ice time Saturday, so he looks to have regained a little trust from head coach John Tortorella.

Flyers' Cam York: First point since return from IR
York scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime loss to Boston.
He put the Flyers up 3-1 in the second period with a shot from the high slot. York hadn't earned a point since his return from injured reserve on Nov. 23. The defender broke out in 2023-24 with 10 goals and 30 points in 82 regular-season games. However, York has just three goals and one assist in 14 games this campaign. York's fantasy value is low for now, but that could improve if his offensive production increases.

Flyers' Cam York: Returns to action Saturday
York (upper body) was activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup versus Chicago on Saturday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
York sat out 13 games after being injured versus the Capitals on Oct. 24. He has two goals and an assist in seven games this season after breaking out in 2023-24 with 10 goals and 20 helpers in 82 regular-season contests. York will replace Egor Zamula in Saturday's lineup.

Flyers' Cam York: Expected to return Saturday
York (upper body) is slated to return to the lineup versus Chicago on Saturday, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.
York has missed the last 13 games after he was hit into the boards in the third period Oct. 24 against the Capitals. The 23-year-old blueliner has two goals and an assist in seven appearances this season. York had a breakout campaign in 2023-24, tallying 10 goals and adding 20 assists over 82 regular-season games.

Flyers' Cam York: Full practice participant
York (upper body) continues to be a full participant at practice, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports, but remains on injured reserve ahead of Monday's matchup with Colorado.
York will be sidelined for his 12th consecutive contest due to his upper-body injury, having last played Oct. 23 versus Washington. With Emil Andrae (undisclosed) and Jamie Drysdale (upper body) both sidelined as well, the team could certainly benefit from having York back in action. At this point, York may be hard-pressed to reach the 30-point threshold again this year, after needing all 82 games to achieve that mark in 2023-24.

Flyers' Cam York: Expected to travel with team
York (upper body) is slated to travel with the Flyers for their upcoming three-game road trip but still may not play, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports Monday.
While it's certainly a step in the right direction for York, the fact that he seems unlikely to be in action during the trip would bring his missed game total up to eight. The 23-year-old blueliner needed all 82 regular-season contests last year to get to the 30-point mark and now seems unlikely to reach that threshold in 2024-25.

Flyers' Cam York: Moves to injured reserve
York (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
York was already ruled out for two weeks, so this move is simply procedural. Erik Johnson took York's place in the lineup Saturday versus the Wild, but Emil Andrae could also get some playing time in the short term.

Flyers' Cam York: Set to miss two weeks

Flyers' Cam York: Status uncertain for Saturday
Head coach John Tortorella said Friday that York's status is uncertain for Saturday's game against the Wild due to an undisclosed injury, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
York didn't practice Friday following Thursday's day off, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available in the first half of a back-to-back Saturday. He got hit into the boards near the end of Wednesday's game against Washington, but the extent of his injury isn't yet known. If York is unavailable Saturday, Erik Johnson could rejoin the lineup.

Flyers' Cam York: Bags apple Tuesday
York tallied an assist and blocked two shots during Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Capitals.
York has been fairly productive for the struggling Flyers with two goals and three points in six games this season. The 23-year-old has improved steadily in his NHL career and could threaten the 40-point barrier if he can keep his offense going and garner top pairing minutes for the balance of the 2024-25 season.

Flyers' Cam York: Scores Thursday
York scored a goal, blocked five shots, logged two hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Kraken.
York has two goals through four appearances this season. The 23-year-old defenseman has seen significant ice time, including a season-high 25:17 in Thursday's loss, but it hasn't come with much power-play time yet, as Egor Zamula and Jamie Drysdale continue to play with the man advantage. York has added six shots on net, seven blocked shots, five hits and four PIM from his top-four role. If he can keep his minutes up, York may be able to produce enough offense to stay in the mix in fantasy even without a significant power-play role.

Flyers' Cam York: Nets equalizer Friday
York scored a goal and added two PIM in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
York's goal early in the third period was enough to force overtime. The 23-year-old defenseman produced 10 goals, 20 assists, 174 blocked shots and 134 shots on goal over 82 games in 2023-24, but his production was bolstered by averaging 2:05 per contest with the man advantage. He's not on a power-play unit to begin this season, but that could change if Egor Zamula or Jamie Drysdale struggle. Still, York's fantasy upside is capped if he doesn't get more favorable assignments for offense.

York opened the scoring 4:21 into the first period, beating Jonathan Quick with a wrister to give the Flyers an early lead. It's the first goal for York since March 2 -- he logged seven assists in his previous 17 games. Overall, the 23-year-old blueliner is up to 10 goals and 30 points with 174 blocked shots and 74 hits while averaging 22:33 of ice time in a top-pairing role.

Flyers' Cam York: Nets assist in win
York collected an assist during Tuesday's win over Toronto.

Flyers' Cam York: Two points in Sunday's loss
York scored an even-strength goal and added a shorthanded assist in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Penguins.
The 23-year-old broke out of a slump that had seen him pick up only one assist over the prior 10 games. It was York's first multi-point performance since Dec. 7, but his fantasy outlook could be on the upswing if the shoulder injury Jamie Drysdale suffered Sunday proves to be serious. The Flyers have been mixing and matching defenders on the power play, with Travis Sanheim and Sean Walker getting shifts in addition to Drysdale and York, so taking one of them out of the picture -- or even two, if Walker gets shipped out at the trade deadline -- can only help the production of whoever is left standing among Philadelphia's defensemen.

Flyers' Cam York: Good to go
York (upper body) will be in the lineup Saturday against New Jersey, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Despite leaving Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to Toronto early, York will be available to play in Saturday's outdoor contest at MetLife Stadium. He has contributed six goals, 18 points and 96 blocked shots across 55 appearances this campaign.
