Lundell scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-3 win over Washington on Thursday. Lundell found Colin White in the second period with a nice pass on the rush at the end of a shift. Panthers' Anton Lundell: Earns apple in loss
Lundell managed an assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Avalanche. Lundell has turned up the heat with three goals and six assists over the last month, a 13-game span. Lauded for his skills as a two-way pivot, the 12th overall selection in 2020 NHL Entry Draft has been handling a top-six assignment with a No. 2 power-play role. Lundell's shooting percentage (6.7) needs improvement, but he's shown flashes of his upside on the way to seven goals and 17 assists -- including five man-advantage apples -- through 46 games.... Panthers' Anton Lundell: Seizing opportunity
Lundell scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 5-3 win over the Wild. He opened the scoring with just 13 seconds left in the first period when he took a feed from Aleksander Barkov in the slot and knifed it by Filip Gustavsson. His assist came on Sam Reinhart's empty netter in the last minute of the game. Lundell is making the most of his opportunity on wing on the kitties' top line. He's in the midst of a four-game, five-point streak that includes three goals.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Garners assist in win
Lundell notched an assist, six shots on goal and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Avalanche. Lundell was elevated to the top line Tuesday amid a seven-game point drought. He snapped that skid quickly, setting up Aleksander Barkov's opening tally midway through the first period. Lundell's last goal came versus the Oilers on Nov. 28, but he missed time with an upper-body injury in December. The 21-year-old has 15 points. 75 shots on net, 25 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 33 contests. If he sticks on the top-line, he may be worth a look in fantasy despite his lack of recent production.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Ready to rock
Lundell (upper body) will return to the lineup Wednesday versus the Devils, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports. Lundell will return to a featured role following his nine-game absence, centering the second line and the second power-play unit against New Jersey. The 21-year-old Finn has picked up four goals and 13 points through 24 contests this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Getting closer
Lundell (upper body) is not expected to play Monday versus Boston, Katie Engleson of Bally Sports Florida reports. Lundell has produced 13 points in 24 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Not close to returning
Lundell is no longer ill, but he's still considered "worse than day-to-day" with his upper-body injury, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Lundell has already missed the last six games, and it appears he's still not close to returning to action. Eric Staal will likely continue to see middle-six usage until Lundell, who's picked up 13 points through 24 games this season, is ready to return.... See More ... See Less -

Lundell (illness/upper body) won't play Saturday against Tampa Bay, Katie Engleson of Bally Sports Florida reports. Lundell has been out since Dec. 1 due to an upper-body injury and an illness. Coach Paul Maurice said Saturday that the Panthers forward has resumed skating. There is a chance that Lundell will be ready for Sunday's contest versus Seattle. He has notched four goals and 13 points in 24 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Out Thursday with illness
Lundell, who missed Florida's last two games with an upper-body injury, isn't available for Thursday's contest against Detroit because of a non-COVID illness. It's not clear if Lundell would have been ready to return from his upper-body injury Thursday if he wasn't sick. He has four goals and 13 points in 24 games this season. When the 21-year-old is ready to return, he will likely serve on the second or third line.... See More ... See Less -

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Leaves Thursday's game
Lundell (undisclosed) had something tighten up on him that prevented him from finishing Thursday's game versus the Canucks, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Lundell was initially injured in the first period, but returned for the second, only to leave after a few more shifts. Head coach Paul Maurice declined to elaborate further on Lundell's issue beyond saying that it wasn't expected to be a long-term situation. With Aleksander Barkov (illness) not yet with the team, an absence for Lundell could cause the Panthers to play with a shortened lineup Saturday in Seattle.... See More ... See Less -
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Goals in three straight games
Lundell scored a goal on four shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers. Lundell continues to absorb most of the minutes in the absence of Aleksander Barkov (illness). This was Lundell's third straight game with a goal, and he's gone plus-4 with eight PIM and eight shots on goal in that span. The 21-year-old's temporary boost in ice time is helping his offense -- he's now at four goals, 12 points, 54 shots and a plus-8 rating through 22 contests overall. It's unclear when Barkov will be back -- Lundell will be an attractive streaming and DFS option in the mean time.... See More ... See Less -

Lundell scored to go with a plus-2 rating and four penalty minutes in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Bruins. Specifically, the 12th overall pick form 2020 is averaging 17:16 of ice time, including 2:47 on the power play. The Panthers aren't the offensive powerhouse that they were last season, but X-factors like Lundell are keeping them respectable within a highly competitive division.... See More ... See Less -

With four assists in his last five games, Lundell is starting to pick up the pace some on offense. The 21-year-old center is up to six points, 30 shots, eight blocked shots, six hits and a plus-3 rating through 11 contests. He sees third-line usage at even strength, but he also plays on the top power-play unit and features on the penalty kill.... See More ... See Less -

Lundell earned an assist Saturday in a 5-3 win over Ottawa. Lundell has heated up with three points, including two helpers, in his past four games. He had the lone assist on Matthew Tkachuk's empty-netter to seal Florida's win Saturday. The 21-year-old sophomore forward has one goal and four points through nine contests this campaign. Lundell is behind the 18-goal, 44-point pace he set last year during his 65 appearances, but there is plenty of time left in 2022-23 for him to get back on track.... See More ... See Less -
