Martinook was held off the scoresheet for the first three contests of the Eastern Conference Finals. Florida completed its sweep of Carolina on Wednesday, so Martinook will finish the playoffs with three goals and 12 points in 15 outings. It was a very good showing for the 30-year-old, especially compared to his regular-season totals of 13 goals and 34 points in 82 appearances.

Martinook had just one assist on Thursday. It almost seems like too little after he posted four straight multi-point games prior to Thursday. He has put up points in five straight for a total of three goals and 10 points in those five games. He's been a big depth contributor in the team's second-round series.

Martinook has been solid in a middle-six role so far, logging seven goals, six assists, 52 shots on net, 34 hits, 18 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 25 outings. He hasn't reached the 20-point mark since 2018-19, but he's well on his way there this year and could even put up a career year if he stays healthy.
