Packers' Keisean Nixon: Sees action in all phases
Nixon had one carry for 11 yards, made three solo tackles, deflected a pass and returned a kick for 24 yards in Sunday's 18-17 victory over the Saints.
Nixon did not start on defense for the first time this season, but he did see action in all three phrases and recorded his first career touch on the offensive side of the ball. It's unlikely he gets more involved in that area -- particularly when the Packers are back at full strength -- but it is at least an option.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Nets eight Week 1 stops
Nixon had eight tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 38-20 victory over the Bears. He also returned two kicks for 55 yards.
The All-Pro return man was not used on punt returns, but that's because he has carved out a key role in Green Bay's secondary, as he was one of three cornerbacks to open Sunday's contest on the field. Nixon may not have as many chances to score as he did last season, but he remains an important player for the Packers.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Busy at cornerback spot
Nixon saw action in Saturday's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seahawks.
Nixon did not make a mark in the box score, but he started at cornerback for the third time in three preseason contests. The All-Pro return man curiously did not return a kick nor a punt during the exhibition season, but he figures to be back there in some capacity when the regular season gets underway.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Will return to Green Bay
The Packers and Nixon (concussion) agreed Monday on a one-year deal with a max value of $6 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Nixon signed with the Packers in March of 2022 and reunited with special-teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, who coached Nixon during his previous stint in Las Vegas. Nixon, an undrafted product out of South Carolina, periodically saw some work on defense with Green Bay, totaling 23 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble across 276 defensive snaps, but he made his mark as a return man after Amari Rodgers was waived in November. Nixon totaled 1,009 kick-return yards, 140 punt-return yards and one touchdown across 12 games as the primary return man en route to first-team All-Pro honors. Based on Rapoport's report, it sounds like Nixon's new deal is laced with incentives, so he'll have to build off his success from last year to earn the full $6 million. He suffered a concussion during the Packers' Week 18 loss to the Lions, but there's no reason to believe that issue will impact his availability for offseason workouts.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Evaluated for concussion in Week 18
Nixon is being evaluated for a concussion Sunday against the Lions.
Nixon took a big hit at the end of a fourth-quarter kickoff return in the season finale. The 25-year-old return man showed promise in 2022, scoring a kick return touchdown in Week 17 against the Vikings while adding numerous other lengthy returns.
